Peacemaker TV Series Figure by Hot Toys

Posted on February 25, 2022 at 8:10 am by Joe Moore under DC Toy News

Hot Toys Peacemaker 011

Photos and details have been released for an upcoming Peacemaker 1/6 Scale Figure by Hot Toys. The figure is based on the Peacemaker TV Series for HBO Max, which just finished its first season. The Peacemaker figure stands over 12″ tall, with about 30 points of articulation. In a baffling decision, the figure will only include a screaming head sculpt that has swap out tongues. Peacemaker will also include interchangeable hands, swap out helmets, Eagly, a sword, an axe, and a figure stand. On his belt, a pistol is shown, as well as ammo clips. However, the figure is not pictured with a pistol. It’s not known at this time if the pistol is removable from the holster.

Pre-orders will go live soon for the Peacemaker figure. Look for it to be released between the Second and Third Quarters of 2023. You can see photos and additional details after the jump.

Peacemaker TV Series – Peacemaker 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

“I made a vow to have peace, no matter how many people I have to kill to get it.” – Peacemaker

Picking up where 2021’s The Suicide Squad left off, DC’s recently released series – Peacemaker follows a violent vigilante who believes in achieving peace at any cost – no matter how many people he has to kill for it in the process. He was one of the members of the second Task Force X strike team sent on a mission to Coro Maltese.

In response to the immense fame of the character, Hot Toys is pleased to officially introduce the highly-anticipated 1/6th scale Peacemaker collectible figure with shiny silver chrome helmets from the Peacemaker collection.

Sophisticatedly crafted with striking likeness of Peacemaker’s appearance portrayed by John Cena in the action series, the 1/6th scale figure features a newly developed helmet head and an interchangeable helmet covered in silver chrome finish with details, an attachable tongue to create alternate expressions, a specially tailored outfit, weapons including a sword, an axe, and a figure stand. The sidekick of the show – Eagly will also come as a 1/6th scale accessory with spread wings for complete collector experience.

Three screaming/tongue out of mouth headsculpts but not a single serious looking face or unmasked face? Disappointing. Also wish Eagley had a 2nd headsculpt of him screeching since he so often did that in the show. Eagley was so awesome.

I see his Desert Eagle in the holster, but it's not listed as one of the weapons, does that mean the gun is NOT removable?!?!

Hmmm.... that's concerning. No photos of it unholstered with him using it in action. It's definitely possible it is just permanently holstered, per WB's ridiculous no guns policy now. For a high end $200+ collectible figure like that that only ADULTS will be buying ONLINE, there should be NO restrictions like that. I was already going to pass on the figure because of the lack of a regular expression face sculpt, but a non-removable gun just confirms my lack of purchase.

I was initially excited to see this but after looking at it a lot, this may be one of Hot Toys' worst efforts.

    • Weird expression choice
    • No neutral head
    • Can't remove helmet from head anyway
    • No devil horn hands if that's supposed to be a rocking head
    • No gun
    • The eagle is a generic eagle and not Eagly
    • No hugging wings
    • Zero season specific items, no butterfly etc

It's one headsculpt, the tongue is magnetic and movable.

Yeah, according to Figure Collecting for Dummy on Facebook, he said he asked and was told it's molded to the holster.

On a related note, does anyone know if there's any good 1/12 scale eagles out there made by any company that I could get to go with my McFarlane Peacemaker figure? I was thinking maybe Schleich might have one but I'm not sure if it scales properly with 6-7" figures.

I was thinking of using Classified Freedom when it comes out in a few months.

Imagine buying a high-end collectible that has weapons and accessories molded onto it instead of being removeable.

Oh, wait, now you don't have to!

This is garbage. It's not just the weapons. The movie is out, the season is over. There is no excuse for this figure to be bare bones. I don't watch this crap (other than that embarassing Aquaman/Flash exchange) so I'll take dukefett's word that there's a pile of missing/inaccurate items. This is just a $250 cash grab, eventually these things will catch up to toy companies.

I think it's actually two heads, the helmet is different on both. Still weird there is no neutral face though.

I loved the show and look forward to season 2. The tone of it reminded me of Ash vs. The Evil Dead with its hilarious vulgarity and silly over the top comic book violence. Peacemaker is as macho and dimwitted at times as Ash if Ash was a costumed superhero. Vigilante's sociopathic lack of empathy was ridiculously funny and Eagley was so amusing in his little character moments. And the opening credit dance routine is easily one of the best openings of a TV show ever.

Nah, mate. Ash Vs Evil Dead was one of my fave things ever. Really hoping the new game will live up to it's potential. Couldn't bloody stand Peacemaker (and I was wrong, I made it through almost two episodes but I had to head out 15 mins before end of episode 2 to deal with some sack of shit causing my family some grief and never got around to finishing it). And Ash is a macho dimwit sure, but he's still a decent guy where it matters. If you enjoy Peacemaker, great, enjoy. But he's no Ash and goddamn I miss AvED so damn much. Rewatched it plenty of times but took me a long time to accept no season 4.

I think a lot of people will do that. Nothing against Freedom, but Eagly just had a lot more personalities!

Speaking of which, Dee Bradley Baker - the voice behind Captain Rex, The Bad Batch and all the clone troopers is actually the voice behind Eagly. I guess you need a professional voice actor to do "eeeeeee... awwwrk......" Ha ha.

I'd bet the helmet is just swappable. The tongue is at different angles in different pics.

Yeah I loved the show and I would've definitely bought this if it was done correctly.

I forgot another nitpick is that Cena is one of the few people that would legitimately need jacked TBLeague musclebound arms to look correct.

Show was awesome (totally love the Ash comparison someone made) but man they botched the head sculpt here. Come to think of it McFarlane did too. What is it about John Cena's face that is apparently so difficult for toymakers to capture?

Just read the product listing, folks. One head sculpt with 2 interchangeable helmets and a magnetic tongue.

I have found this site to be mostly unbiased and resists from giving personal opinions of releases to simply provide the latest news but they’re certainly correct about this headsculpt being a baffling choice from HT. It would be a great accessory of the main sculpt was a stoic, unmasked Cena head. SooSoo will do it way better.

Yeah I feel like I'm doing a bit from the show if I complain that his arms should be bigger and more defined lol but they really should be.

Dead Company and WB are two of the dumbest businesses on the planet. You hope that the merger with Discovery will change things but I doubt it.

Ok I gotta admit, the magnetic tongue in the open mouth so you can place it in different positions is really rather smart. But the whole no-guns policy is of course still really silly and dumb, especially that it's affecting >$200 collectibles like this.
