We’ve received a press release from Kotobukiya for their latest video game related statue. The Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai – Hyunckel ARTFX J Statue is based on the manga that was inspired by the long running Dragon Quest game series. Hyunckel is a 1/8 scale statue, and stands a little over 9″ tall on a themed display base. Hyunckel wields his Demon Spear, with the a removable Aura of Light surrounding it.
Look for the statue to be released in August in Japan. It’s priced at $179.99. Read on for additional info, and the new images.

"Bloody Scryde", nice.
I like watching "Adventures of Dai" solid anime for DQ fans. The statue looks great, but I would prefer an articulated piece. I think there are figma releases happening, but nothing for Hyunkel yet.
