Marvel Legends X-Men Bonebreaker Wave Official Pics and Details, Pre-Orders Live
$25 each. So glad that Wolverine doesn't come with a BAF piece, so I don't get stuck with yet another Wolverine.
I hate BAFs, I'd buy that guy so fast, but have no interest in anyone else.
Ill wait for vulcan to go one sale. At the prices hasbro is charging they can sit n spin cause their shit DEFINITELY isnt worth it anymore,
I didn’t think I could hit my limit. But here we are. I didn’t preorder.
I know it's not very likely, but I would love to see a deluxe redeco of Bonebreaker in the style of the X-Men arcade game. There are rumors of a 6" Sentinel, and all of the heroes and most of the bosses have been released, so maybe there's a chance.
What's the red on Wolverine's claws here? I haven't kept up with X-Men in donkeys years.
His claws weren't sharp enough before? lol
<goestocheck>
Well shit, I'm canceling my Wolverine order as I have no need for that one. At least I saved something, but the $25 price tag is ridiculous. They better not have a single paint flaw.

If you don't count the Deadpool Strong Guy wave this will be four X-waves in a row with zero must have figures for me... AoA 2, Hox/Pox, AoA1 and now Bonebreaker. I think the last must have X-fig for me from a BAF wave was Nightcrawler from like 2 years ago.
That's ridiculous for $25.
I should note that the picture above is not the Wolverine this figure is based on. That Wolverine is possessed by a demon. So it's like hellfire.
The Wolverine this figure is based on developed hot claws after being revived in Return of Wolverine. His healing factor went into overtime and generated excess heat.
Marvel realized like everyone else that it was an absolutely dumb idea and quietly dropped it going into the new X-men status quo. Like someone watched Wolverine Origins and actually though it was cool when they did it.....because someone though Cyclops had heat vision. Then they pulled that nonsense again in The Wolverine but that was actually cool.

Not my "Craziest Wave"....
So so to me IMHO ;^)
Yeah, at $25+tax, this will be a "wait till they hit clearance/sale" cherry pick wave for me. I was only interested in Havok/Sabretooth & BB. How Hasbro can justify raising the price like $6 in the past yr when these were $19.99 a yr ago is beyond me! At $25 a figure these should be coming with extra hands, and head sculpts! That Wilem Dafoe head on Creed is a joke! That he comes with no fist hands or alternate classic comic head sculpt resembling JB's art is a joke! I maybe buy an entire wave like 2x a yr & that's if the BAF & at least 4 figs are a must have. Last wave I bought was the Ursa Major wave & even then I sold off the RiRi & one other figure in that wave. Previous wave I bought was for BAF Stiltman wave & I just kept Leapfrog/Frogman & the HAND Ninja, sold off the rest of the wave. Fortunately I don't collect MCU so my cherry picking of comic related characters saves me $$ as I probably just buy like a total of 20-25 figs a yr. Hasbro really needs to tell their sculpters to keep their personal touch off the head sculpts & stick to the source material, no one in this world asked for classic 1ST app Sabretooth to have a damn Wilem Defoe head sculpt!
The problem is X-Men and Spider-Man waves are hard to guess whether or not they will hit clearance. Waiting could result in only a few figures actually being on cleraance. Just look at the Tri-Sentinel wave. Magneto, Prof X, Wolverine, and Omega didn't go down, they went up. I was considering buying them, but then I saw them for like $30-50 a piece and was like, "NOPE!" Bonebreaker is a figure I want though, so I can't afford to wait and hope they drop in price.
Also, my physical stores never carried Sabertooth, Kitty, and Legion, so I would have missed out on them if I hadn't preordered them online.
Darwin and Vulcan are spoken for, but the rest of them can go cheap- hit me up if you're interested.
Waiting for a sale is a good possibility. Gamestop and Target run sales on Marvel all the time. But waiting for clearance is too much of a gamble.
Honestly though I long ago stopped buying every Legend anyway, and only focus on stuff I actually want like X-Men figures. So paying $25 a piece for a X-Men wave isn't that big of a deal really.

Hey Sataninjaku, I'll take you up on the offer of Sabretooth when they release, thanks!
