New in Stores by DST - Sonic The Hedgehog Statue, Darth Maul Bust, and Tron Arcade Figures

Is DST going to add any new figures to the Tron toy line? They are getting a lot of mileage out of the tooling for the 3 characters they have released, but it would be great to at least get one more wave of new characters for the line.
Agreed on Tron, but damn that set is sexy! I don’t know if I can justify a forth set.
That's the ticket ;^)
With no more TRON, The Black Hole, or Star Trek ships to come, DST is dead to me.
DST is like an old friend you don't hang out with anymore but you hope is doing well. Every now and then you see them at a party, chat for a bit, make a new memory, but whenever you get an update on everything they're up to you're reminded all over again why you stopped hanging out in the first place and just feel kinda sad for a moment.
^ That is a scarily accurate analogy... except if I ever found any old Select stuff for cheap I would buy them all up just for the accessories and display pieces.
Diamond is still very much relevant to me. They've been killing it lately with their Marvel Select figures. I would guess they've gotten at least 3 purchases from me every year for the last several years.
And I'm a trekkie before anything else, so DST's treatment of that license (before apparently cancelling it outright and just not... telling anyone?) has been a source of frustration for me for years. How are you going to just dupe the AMT tooling for the ships but keep all the inaccuracies? Or add new ones, like the colored nacelles on the D? Or not do another run while product spends years at 3x+ retail on the secondary market? Or, or, or...
I am just glad we got classic Flynn... it seems like Tron and Sark stuff always get made, but just those two guys. Too bad they cheaped out on Tron Select though and never gave us the build a Recognizer.
It does look like Tron 3 will eventually be made though since Jared Leto is hell bent on making it happen. So Tron stuff will probably get another shot a few years down the line.
^ From what I've read... Leto is the one that revived Tron 3 at Disney... like Tron is one of his fav movies or something, so Tron 3 is his passion project and he really wants to play the villain in a Tron movie... that's why I think it will eventually be made even if it ends up on Disney+. Which sux for me since I think Jared Leto is the most overrated actor of all-time, but whatever... as long as Bruce Boxleitner gets to be in it somehow... I'm good. This was all before Covid though, so who knows how things stand now. And you never know how things will turn out... Tron Legacy ended up being my fav movie of all-time (and stil is... mostly due to Daft Punk's soundtrack though). And even if Tron 3 dies again... that's okay too... Tron Uprising was a worthy follow-up IMO.
