I mean these are nice but I could use something a bit more... "freakish".
I really want a tiny Pinky and the Brain to scale with Yakko, Wakko, and Dot.
I do wonder when they'll reach the tipping point where people's nostalgia isn't worth 50+ dollars...
That price and my inventory on what is in storage would tell me... Yeah, I have enough.
Would be great to you know - actually get the main characters out for their OTHER lines first before they keep adding more projects that will take years to actually make it to our hands.
Love these! Nice to see them roll out the basic versions of each character for a first wave. Their character selection for the first wave of Simpsons characters were baffling.
A jump to $75?
Then again, much of that jump is more "we need to maintain our profit margin" than "this is costing us a ton more so we NEED to raise prices"
Like when Hasbro said earlier this year they were raising prices to maintain their 15% profit margin. Props to them for actually stating that to the consumer, but it's still a dick move.
And as more collectors leave, the prices will rise further because less items will be made and sell since demand will lessen. I believe it was Adam over at Galactic Hunter (who works for EE) who said he believes we're in a toy bubble that is gonna burst soon and the secondary market is gonna plunge hard, which will affect alot.
I think we're close to an action figure crash. Crazy prices, little to no kid interest, and too many exclusives. It's like comic books in the 90's again.
They got this Series' character representation right at the start, but not for The Simpsons. Is it a licensing thing?
We need Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes
These are cool, but I think I'll pass. Now if S7 ever does American Dad figures, I'm all in.
The price is just too high for what you are getting.
