DC Comics - Darkseid Figure Preview by Beast Kingdom

That looks pretty impressive.
Since Darkseid height can be all over the place anyway, I may pick this guy up to sit with the McFarlane figs, scale be damned. That is a great modern take on him.
That is impressive.
1/9 scale but who knows what height they'd use. Considering it is Darkseid he might be up to 12" tall.
Well if the cape is from their Superman figure which is 8" tall, that might give an indication how tall this guy is.
Ooh, so will he be like ~30 cm tall at 1/9? Would love to get him in that case to go with my PAK figures. The Darkseid in the PAK line wasn’t very convincing
This is a must have. Darseid is my favorite DC villian.
This is a must for me.
I’m not sure how their scale works. At least on the preorders details, their Merciless is not taller than their regular sized figures.
Are these figures any good at all?

That visible wrist joint is TERRIBLE. Pity. It's a great looking figure. Love the Omega Beam attachments. Best we've ever gotten
I wish people would start doing the classic Darkseid instead of the modern one. Everyone is just focusing on the modern one it has gotten boring.
Wow. Definettly buying this for my Shelf im going to have a display of Various Villians and this is a must have.
I am trying to get a good angle of view. The absolute first thing I did as a collector was look over the whole figure and as soon as I started to do that my eyes locked on to his wrists. The balls joints look TERRIBLE at that first picture angle(As touched on by several others so I know it is NOT just me) but I only see the problem fully in one picture at one angle, and partially in a 2nd picture at one angle. Having just Pre-Ordered the figure just to secure it for myself in case I decide to definitely get it I am now trying to see what everyone else thinks.
Do you think the wrists will look as bad in person as they do in Photo #1 and SORT OF in Photo #3? I am wondering if it is just a bad angle, a lot of times figures are NOT done justice in their promo art or ANY pics for that matter. Then I get them in hand and they are GREAT. Then again that is McFarlane so I only stand to loose $20. Then again also it is a gorgeous figure and its only the wrists, besides that its PERFECT LOOKING. So what does everyone think, also have their been any updates since this original post? Videos, etc?
Not Bad....
Need to see in "The Real" tho ;^)
