Sentinel has released photos and details for the Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse – Peni Parker and SP//dr 6″ Scale SV-Action Figure Set. The Peni Parker is a static figure, while SP//dr is fully articulated. The SP//dr figure includes swap out head parts, a light up feature, and a figure stand. The set is priced at $98, and will be released in June 2022. Check out details below, and photos after the jump.

From the hit animated film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” we are happy to introduce Peni Parker & SP//dr as the 3rd item to our “SV-Action” series, aimed to recreate the cool and vividly coloured combat scenes in the movie.
Peni Parker is portrayed as a non-movable statue in her charming pose. SP//dr is fully articulated and comes with interchangeable head parts for different expressions. Its arms and legs can be recombined for creating various scenes from the movie. It is also equipped with an LED light-up function!

I don't get the obsession with NOT making an articulated Peni. Same with Spider Ham.

The more realistic response would be the cost would potentially increase with the increase of parts required to make each figure, cuts for articulation issues, size or rather issues with size of parts for articulation and potential for breakage, and finally the overall desire to release the character more immediate than waiting to have to pack two full articulated figures.
I had figured with Sprite we might see smaller figures but I noticed when I got her she's still teen sized (but appears to be an actual child in the movie). Guess Hasbro isn't going to make figures that small anytime soon.
Does this scale properly with the Spiderverse Marvel Legends figures? If so, I might be tempted.

She killed it in the movie, love her so much. she deserve a great action figure!
I'd like to think that Hasbro is going to do another Into the Spider-verse set, but if they don't then this would be a great stand in.
