Super 7 have listed a new ReAction Godzilla figure based on a Shogun Warriors homage. The Dark Green version will come blistered on a retro inspired card and features a working spring loaded missile. This is different than the Spectacular Kinda Sorta Still-at-Home-ic-Con Exclusive version which came boxed and was a different shade of green. Retail is $18 USD and he’s listed as in stock right now.
Godzilla ReAction Figure – Shogun (Dark Green)
Not to pat ourselves on the back too much, but Super7 has accomplished what the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and countless monster adversaries could not: bring the mighty Godzilla down to size! The 3.75” Shogun Godzilla ReAction figure takes the big presence of the classic large format Shogun Godzilla toy and re-imagines it in a smaller package. While the original toy was awesome, the Shogun Godzilla ReAction figure with spring-loaded retractable flame tongue and vintage graphic cardback is a much more manageable way to add the King of the Monsters to your Kaiju collection.
- Godzilla is a character from classic Japanese monster movies that has become a pop culture icon
- Inspired by the vintage large format Shogun Godzilla toy
- Features spring-loaded retractable flame tongue
- 3.75” scale action figure with five points of articulation
- Collect the entire line of ReAction figures by Super7!
Shogun Style Dark Green Godzilla ReAction Figure
Brings back a ton of memories. Always jealous when my cousin brought him out to play and there was no way to get him from a store for me.
So woll this be a general retail version other stores will have? I hope so since importing one for America costs like $48 with shipping.
In general disappointed we still haven't seen Ultimates. I swear Flynn said they'd reveal that at SDCC. That, NYCC, and now 'Godzilla Day' have come and gone with no reveal.
I like the original box art that was offered back in the summer better than this blister package, but this is a lower price point, so that's a good thing too.
The original toy, along with another giant Shogun(Raydeen) and my enormous ALien from the 70s, are reasons why I still kick myself today when my mother set up a yard sale and I didn't think to make sure she didn't put those out there 30 years ago.
This is cute....
Me?
Give me the "BIG" boy ;^)
