Asmus Toys has stopped by the forums to share an update on their impressive looking Gollum and Sméagol 1/6 Scale Figures. Fans who order the Luxury Edition, which gives you both figures, will get an extra set of interchangeable hands. The Gollum and Sméagolfigures are priced at $130 each . Asmus Toys have developed our exclusive Gollum body at around 20cm tall with over 22 points of articulation! This set comes complete with seamless arms and legs, 3 sets of hands, crouching legs and haired hobbit feet.
Both sculpts feature rooted hair and rotatable eyes to help achieve the perfect expression you are after. But to top all of that, there’s a “juicy, sweet” fish thrown in to each box. We don’t keep nasty chips! 🐟

Pretty amazing, well done Asmus. Very smart to have a Gollum and Smeagol to recreate some scenes. So the juicy fish isn't stuck in the pool?
Near perfect, throw in a closed eyes happy content face sculpt and to me would be definitive (though also adding very sad face sculpt would definitely cover all the bases but happy look would be enough). But you definitely got pretty much an excellent 1/6 Gollum/Smeagol for Two Towers and Hobbit films.

Very nice. I agree that a closed-mouth Happy Smeagol would be tops, but this looks very, very good.

The seamless body of Gollum was first clay sculpted, and scanned into computer for breaking down the internal structures of articulations, then printed out in resin. Remold, cast in clay for detail, then tooled into injection molds for plastic production.
It will not be a silicon like what we often see in seamless body, but a plastic body. It is more endurable, and stronger.
