Quick gallery tonight for the S.H. Figuarts Event Exclusive Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Kaio-Ken Son Goku! This first dropped at New York Comic Con 2021 at the show in person. I was there on Thursday and was able to snag a copy. As of yet there is no official time frame for online release, but Tamashii Nations and Bluefin Brands have said it will eventually be available via Premium Bandai.
The figure uses the base body of previous exclusive, Ultra Instinct Sign Goku. A new Super Saiyan head in blue along with a candy coating and slight red/pink tint to the skin is there to represent the powered up effect and round the figure out. He comes packed with a Tamashii Energy Effect in a two tone red and blue to match the power up.
We’ve run him for a quick set of pics, read on to check them out after the break! I have a bit of a DB SHF backlog so stay tuned for another group update later in the year.

Looks awesome.
That said, I'm still surprised we haven't gotten a release of just blue undershirt Goku, since he is in that outfit various times in the two series.
So now SH Figuarts is KO'ing the DF KO paint scheme...things have come full circle.
Looks pretty nice...

Some notes:
Not as vibrant as the promotional hero shots are. The shot above with SSGSS Goku shows the tones and overall tinting present on fig compared with a normal release.
Plastic is a bit harder than normal. I'm guessing so it can take the glossy coating.
Overall tho with the effects piece it's really sharp on shelf, happy with it.
Got really lucky end of show on Thursday and was able to score one in person.
Still have a chunk of other figs to shoot, will try to dig in and be caught up by end of year.
I just pre-ordered mine yesterday. Cant wait to have it in hand
