The the Nacelle Company purchased the rights to Robo Force from Toyfinity Toys earlier this year (see our previous story here), the company promised a completely different take on the cult 80s franchise. In a video posted on YouTube, the Nacelle company has released the first look at Hun-Dred, Nacelle’s first ever action figure. At the end of the video, we also get a sneak peek at their take on Maxx. I’ve embedded the video below.

Looks cool. What is the Nacelle company?
Love it. I’m in.
Not sure how I feel about this. The promo vid was good though. So I guess we are getting 'darker and edgier' Max Steel.
Too much of a departure from vintage Robo Force. They have suction cup feet, a homage to the original logo and an overly stylized head that is vaguely reminiscent of vintage design.
The vintage figures have a charm that is missing here. I am by no means saying the new figures need to employ the same gimmicks as the vintage figures OR need to be slaves to the vintage design. But going "dark and gritty" is low hanging fruit. This looks like McFarlane Toys redesigned Robo Force. I was expecting, and hoping, for more.
I get it, some nice design choices here; but it's also looking kinda generic.

ill wait for the rest of the wave before deciding. hasbro should look into bringing back something like Inhumanoids(ip has lapsed though) or Robotix.
