Back in March. X-Plus announced a statue based on Talos from Jason and the Argonauts as part of the Ray Harryhausen Anniversary Collection. A second statue based on the Harryhausen design has been announced. The Talos 2.0 Heroic Gigantic Series Statue stands over 19.5″ tall. There will be Normal Edition and a Deluxe Edition available. The Deluxe Edition includes the display base.

TALOS 50CM SOFT VINYL STATUE (RAY HARRYHAUSEN)
Star Ace introduces their “Gigantic” line of Ray Harryhausen statues with the titanic Talos who stands 50cm (20”) tall! The Greek hero Jason encountered the giant Bronze monster Talos when one of his crew stole from the treasure the giant guarded. This gigantic statue guarded a priceless treasure and when Sinbad’s sailors stole from it, the statue came alive to retrieve it.
This “Gigantic” version of Talos is posed as the great titan was when first encountered by Sinbad. Traditionally sculpted by the artisans of the famed creature shop of Kaibutsuya, this detailed Talos statue is made from soft vinyl and stands 50cm tall (60cm with display base). Each piece is hand-painted to look like it has an ancient Bronze finish.
The Deluxe version of this statue includes the huge platform where the giant statue stood guarding the entrance to his treasure room.

Jason and the Argonauts – Talos 2.0 Statue by X-Plus
I think it is significant just by the fact that it is an unprecedented huge Talos figure. But there's a problem that I personally feel.
1. A sculpture that's different from Talos' face in the movie.
2. Along with the product released in 2001, the pattern of the sword that is not reproduced at all.
If the goal is to realistically reproduce Talos in the movie, not retro figures or designer Toys, this is definitely wrong.
I will proceed with the pre-order, but I think there is a problem with receiving $485 with this much result.
