Eternals S.H. Figuarts Preview

Those faces look very cartoony compared to the ML ones.
The outfits look a little cooler somehow. Still seem like they'll be a massive flop, though.
not particularly interested in anything Eternals related.

I know that me, personally, would rather see Howard the Duck get a full MCU movie rather than the Eternals. Oh well, just gotta be patient for Fantastic Four and X-men I guess.
Yeah, although Kirby is classic, most would probably find Eternals boring. They should have just done a mini-series and put it on Disney+, unless the story and acting are excellently executed and perfectly balanced and paced (thats been a rarity in years) this isn't going to do well. Introducing and working a huge ensemble of characters in a film is very challenging and I'll leave it at that.
Figures, they're okay. Been saying it for awhile, Bandai seems to be cutting costs and quality particularly with the face sculpts. But I have this feeling anything MCU related, especially with the new phase 4, they've either decided or been asked to cut down the quality. The Stranger Things figures look better than these (face sculpt wise). The bodies and outfits look better than the MLs but still. Well my wallet will be happy at least.
This looks like the most boring MCU movie ever. I hate the costumes. The skirts, look weird. This is Jack Kirby we're talking about and they managed to make the film colorless and boring looking. Not vibrant like Jack Kirby.
Shang Chi, Eternals.... one of the first times I'm not wanting anything of either from the MCU.
I dunno why marvel decided on eternals when a NOVA movie would been a much better choice. God knows he deserves a good kovie considered how they did him dirty in the comics the last couple years.
Unfortunately for Disney, they pissed off China and no Shang Chi there from what I read.
That said, the pandemic being around really makes it hard to see if the general public lost interest in the post Iron Man/Cap MCU or if people just aren't going to the movies due to the pandemic.
Gonna be hard to know until we see how Spider-Man does, I guess.
They look like fancy pajama Power Rangers; I don't like these designs at all, no matter which company tackles them.
Looking at all the new trailers, I'm experiencing the same feeling that led me to stop collecting comic books. Call it 'MCU fatigue.' You reach a point where there are so many overlapping subplots and spin-offs and etc. that you just say F it.
SH Figuarts is really good with faces. I dare them to make a Christopher Reeve Superman. His likeness is usually really hard to nail down.
Eternals - S.H. Figuarts Ikaris, Sersi, and Kingo by Tamashii Nations - The Toyark - News

The effects pieces and alternate heads really liven these up.
If Hasbro had done that, the regular ML versions would have been much more appealing.

The trailer looked boring then we have these color-coded power ranger cosplay suits.
The guys look pretty good, but Sersi looks nothing like Gemma Chan.
It certainly sounds like the rest are coming, reading the translations on the page
