Todd McFarlane Reveals The Dark Nights Death Metal Batmobeast

Posted on September 2, 2021 at 7:32 am by Joe Moore under DC Toy News

McFarlane Toys Batmobeast Preview 1

In the DC Comics Dark Nights Death Metal story, a number of Batmen from a number of Earth’s converge to wreak havoc on Earth-1. One of those is a Batman whose conciseness resides inside a monster truck, and he calls himself Batmobeast. Todd McFarlane, on an Instagram Live Video, revealed the fully packaged DC Multiverse 7″ Scale Batmobeast, one of his largest toys ever. At this time, however, there’s no set release date or price available. See a few screen caps after the jump.

This looks pretty cool, and fun!

Crazy how Todd can make vehicles (especially one this size!!) and keep the price points where they are.

Yeah, I keep hoping he'll eventually tackle the Burton movies and do a Keaton Batman along with a 1/12 scale 1989 Batmobile. If any other company like NECA or MAFEX did a 1/12 Batmobile, it would probably be $100 or more

I'm hoping with the Keaton Batmobile returning in The Flash movie, that we will get it for the Multiverse figures.

I would buy that in a microsecond! That batmobile is my favorite batmobile version.

The advantages of not having shareholders or being listed on the NYSE. You make what you want, you price it for what you want, and you owe explanations to NO ONE. Say whatever about Todd, but the man has made it his own way since the 90's. Mad respect.

Not really. Hes very much accountable to the Warners/DC in this instance. Probably to the retailers too in instances of pricing.

He's totally accountable to WB for these. Hence following their no projectile weapons rule.

I never would have imagined a 7" scale line would get multiple non R/C vehicles at retail... kinda amazing IMO.

Like everyone else, I hope the 89 Batmobile would come someday at 1/12 scale. Even the ones from Forever and Batman&Robin movies that have pretty cool designs
