Preview of the Rambo Figure from First Blood by ThreeZero

I skipped their Rambo 3 figure, as it's not my favorite of the films. But First Blood, oh boy this figure is something I hoped they'd make, this I will pre-order for sure. Hope he comes with his tarp poncho and some other stuffs.
I wonder what all accessories he'll come with. Hopefully the makeshift poncho is included.
First blood was so good. Totally ruined Rambo by making him an 80’s action hero.
This looks good. ThreeZero is doing amazing work.
Tell me that doesn't look like Ben Stiller in Tropic Thunder?
LOL at the floating ammo belt but this one is great. Looking forward to the First Blood Part 2 version.
The only thing I wish they would include a screaming Rambo head. It feels appropriate. I got the Part 3 last week and had I known this was coming out, I would have waited.
I have like 15 NECA RAmbo figures, and wanted them to do a 1/4 scale, but for some ODD reason, NECA's 7" Rambo's did not sell. I thought Rambo was one of those cannot miss properties from the 80's. I know that Three Zero Rambo sold out fast and it is a very high quality figure.
Those NECA Rambo's are worth a lot on the secondary market, for whatever reason. Reminds me of the Gremlins, at first they did not sell that great, then a few years later it came in demand, and now we have unlimited Gremlins figures bc of the secondary market.
This looks good. ThreeZero is doing amazing work.
Without the action hero, Rambo wouldn't be iconic. No real merch to sell.
I agree with your point, as I look at many modern movies, especially popularized from nerd culture, trying to please an audience that aren't fans....and discard their true fans for the agenda.
With the attack on the past by the woke, I tend to put movies as now stand alone. They can call it Rise of Skywalker all they want, but no way it is part of Star Wars in my eyes. Same with any Terminator movie past T2, any movie past the original LOTR movies, and so on. The longer they stretch a franchise out, the more fractured the fan base becomes.

Funny you should mention Star Wars regarding wokeness. George Lucas has said it’s entire premise was inspired by the Viet Cong and their fight against a superior military. Wokeness was not defined yet it was always with these films from the get go. The lack diversity of the cast at the time was also attacked by the late Carl Sagan on the Carson show as being unrealistic https://youtu.be/-D_gH5oikOA I guess Mr. Sagan would be branded a “SJW” today.
But I digress. ThreeZero is knocking it out of the park with these likenesses. So much so I wouldn’t mind them overtaking Hot Toys, who are hit and miss.

Speaking of stretching a franchise, look how that last Rambo movie fared, it ended with a whimper. Fortunately, the first 2 Rambo movies fared better and this figure looks as good as those first 2 movies.
Pre-Orders Live for the Rambo Figure from First Blood by ThreeZero

I want this so badly. It's hard to figure out what is happening with inflation and the economy. I know where it's heading, but a year from now, it's hard to figure it out fully, escpecially with the war mongers in charge.
Yep, I had no idea what I was going to say, but that what this Rambo and buying it made me think above.
I always wanted the Rambo 1 figure and this fulfills that need, but I think it very much needed another head sculpt.
I love ThreeZeroes price points, but perhaps and extra 20 for another head would have been ideal.
I am buying either way. Rambo 1 was Amazing. Sometimes I have trouble deciding which is my favorite 80's Icon, but Rambo is it. I remember me and my brothers going into neck high unknown murky rivers and pretending we were all a version of Rambo or Dutch with our knives and a stick to fend off enemies. Kid you not, kids and teens do stupid things.
I would never buy any of their human figures, but I want Threezero to make tons of bread so that they can keep pumping out awesome robots. They are quickly rising to be one of my absolute favorite companies.
RAMBO!!!...
So So Cool...
Bravo "Three Zero"..
