DCM SS King Shark Exclusive 06

DRIP! Another DC Multiverse figure today – this time the Collect To Build Suicide Squad King Shark – but packaged by himself as a Megafig Walmart exclusive.  He is listed on site but has not gone live yet so keep your eye on the link to grab your copy.

McFarlane Toys Suicide Squad King Shark Megafig Collectible Action Figure – Walmart Exclusive

The enormous King Shark is half-human and half-shark, with a childlike naivete that belies the teeth beneath.  Add to that a bite that far outcries his bark in this genetic experiment gone way awry, who is far more brawn than brains and always in the mood for his next meal, no matter who is on the menu…nom nom.

  • Megafigs are large figures to match their 7” scale figure counterparts based off the DC Multiverse
  • Designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing and play
  • King Shark figure is based on his look in the movie The Suicide Squad
  • King Shark figure features a moving jaw that can open and close
  • Includes 2 accessories, a collectable art card with holder, and a base
  • Collect all McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Figures

Whole wave looks great! And at 4 figures only to build King Shark, I'm definitely excited to get them all.

I'm actually surprised they didn't go with the pants version Harley they could easily transitioned that to two different versions. I'm still likely to get these for the movie side of figures.

I don't own any McFarlane figures, but I'm interested in King Shark. So I might have to get these.

Yeah, I wonder if they'll include them in the package like others have or if they'll eliminate them.

Supposedly there is a listing in the leaked Philippines reveals of a KingShark Mega Figure (like the Darkseid and Apocalypse) So an alternative to buying the wave for the BAF might show up shortly

Probably a repaint or some other variation though. It's unlikely to be identical to the BAF one in this wave.

McFarlane always changes something (minor) But for anyone that JUST wants KingShark- an alternative to buying the wave is coming

I'm thinking it could be a bloody mouth variant. I doubt it'll have any alternative sculpting. I love the sculpt on this figure though. He looks a little more cartoonish, which makes him serve great as a stand-in for the hilarious King Shark voiced by Ron Funches on the Harley animated series. I already have the Mattel DC Multiverse BAF King Shark which looks more realistic and menancing, but I'll get this one too as the nicer cartoony looking version.

I need that King Shark. Like, badly.

That said, however, those elbows looks potentially chunky as shit. We shall see!

And it's great to see how they keep making live-action Harley Quinn's outfits just dumber and dumber with every movie they shoehorn her into. Yes, only a hot, skinny, juggalo-looking chick with zero powers and thrift store clothing can save the world!

Oh, well. Maybe one day they'll reboot the the whole shit-stained DCEU and finally do the Paul Dini Batman/Joker/Harley thing right.

These are toys for what appears to be a VERY R-rated movie. I'm sure they're not telling Todd not to include guns.

The movie and its rating don’t matter; if a DC-licensed toy is getting released DC doesn’t want guns as accessories anymore apparently.

The figures coming with swords even though the characters will most likely never use them in the movie is a huge giveaway. McFarlane won’t include extra swords just for the fun of it, they're including them to avoid having to sell figures with no weapons at all.

These are actually Batman figures disguised as Suicide Squad members. Harley Quinn is from Batman

Probably because James Gunn thought it would be funny.

Okay, I don't really care. Most toy owners have tons of guns in their fodder drawers already.

We know Peacemaker will use a sword at some point in the film.
    As to Bloodsport, who knows.
But I doubt it will stand out more then all the guns they use.

It's frustrating how DC(and Marvel) are trying to pull this anti gun policy while their characters use guns and kill in the films.

When you have writers with no backbone and spend most of their time getting triggered with whatever they deem offensive online nowadays, this happens. Might as well ban swords and any object that can be used as a weapon in this age.

There is something that has come up in the last year or so that Photos of figures can not show characters holding guns or pointing guns at anyone. They can come with guns, have guns in holsters , but NOT be shown holding a gun. Red Hood comes with guns, Thomas Wayne has guns too. So more than likely we will see guns when the pics in package show up. It happens with a LOT of pics of import figures. Will list guns in the solicits , but not show them in pics.

Also I am guessing the solo King Shark release will either have blood on him or be in different colored shorts.
