The age of monsters is upon us once again, as a new line of fully articulated 6″ scale Universal Monsters Action Figures have been revealed. The figures are coming from Jada Toys. Known mostly for their Metalfigs, scaled vehicles, and remote control cars, Jada is no stranger to the action figure game as they previously released figures from the 2014 Robocop reboot. The new Universal Monsters figures are quite different from their past action figure releases. The new figures are full color versions of the horror icons. The assortment includes Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Bride of Frankenstein, and the Creature From The Black Lagoon.
The 6″ scale figures look to have about 25+ points of articulation. Each includes interchangeable portraits, swap out hands, and some character specific accessories. The figures are priced at $24.99 each, and will be released in September. You can see photos and additional details after the jump.

Universal Monsters 6-Inch Scale Figures by Jada Toys

Did these come out of nowhere or was I just unaware?
It looks like the likenesses are far enough removed from the actors' but it's clear who they are supposed to be.
I love that neck articulation on Frankenstein's Monster.
These look pretty cool. Especially that Creature from the Black Lagoon. NECA outclasses them of course, and for not much more money. I think these would do better if they were cheaper, but they look fun nevertheless.
It's cool to see a set of Universal monsters that are undeniably "toys" but those are "collectible" prices, imo. The license must be pretty pricey
LOVE THESE! The perfect mix of the TOY look and LIKENESS.
NECA looks a lot like the more realistic movie versions. JADA looks like the toy versions. I'm liking the toy look A LOT more.
The two perfect head expressions with both. Perfect little accessories. AND, what looks like a lot of articulation.
PRE-ORDERED ALL!!!!!
Interesting. These really came from nowhere. As said above, they look like a toy and that’s fun and I’m sure hits the mark for some.
I’m glad they went this route, you can not compete with NECA. Almost everything NECA touches, “looks like it jumped off the screen”.
Now if I can just digest those SUPER7 reaction figures for $18.
Not terrible but not great timing with NECA's here.
I actually would love the mini metal figures treatment JADA does for the monsters.
Really cool, but when it's a few bucks more to get the "better" versions it's kinda pointless.
It's like if Bandai was charging $20 for Dragon Stars figures but only $30 for Figuarts DBZ figures. There's no real point in paying a few bucks less for inferior product.
I dig these, might pick them up, might miss out and regret it lol
