The huge new Masters of the Universe – Shogun Masters Skeletor is now available to pre-order from Mattel Creations. Earlier this week, we shared an advanced in-hand Photo Gallery of the Shogun Masters Skeletor. The massive figure is a mash up homage to the iconic Shogun Warriors toy line of the 80’s. The figure stands nearly 24″ tall and includes a Havoc staff, wheeled feet, and missiles. The Shogun Masters Skeletor is priced at $300. It will be released between June and September 2021. Pre-order at the links below, and see the official photos after the jump.
Introducing the Shogun Masters™ Skeletor® figure! Yep, that’s right. We resurrected the nearly two-foot-tall chassis from our favorite giant fighting mechs and combined it with the most evil-yet-beloved villain in all of Eternia®. Let’s see what that goody goody man bag of muscles, He-man®, has to say about it.
- The super-sized figure stands nearly 2 feet / 61 cm tall and is instantly recognizable!
- Skeletor® figure is ready battle with missile-powered weapons that include one of his massive fists and his iconic Havoc Staff™!
- The robot warrior carries 8 missiles that can be used as ammunition or snapped onto his boots and body armor.
- With large-scale design, feet that roll and missile-powered action, Shogun Master™ Skeletor® makes a great gift for fans and collectors of Masters of the Universe® and Japanese anime and manga.
Shogun Masters Skeletor – New Shogun Warriors Style MOTU Line – In Hand!

This looks amazing! It's a weird combo, but it works pretty well.
Yep, I dig it. They did a good job with it.
The color scheme is just freaking amazing! They did a great job.
Pretty awesome looking!
Man, killer photos!
He is super cool looking... but not $300 cool... MAYBE $100 lol
Accidental Reveal of Masterverse He-Man?
Seen on mattel creations website.
(Update: Probably a Mondo Custom)
That would be cool, can't tell if that's 1/6th or a 2 up etc. Looks similar to Mondo, but not exact.

Does anybody believe Mattel will loose the MOTU rights in 2023?
Spector Creative does.
Picture #54 is pure magic.
Also, Scott Nerdlick sucks.
Universal only has entertainment rights to the property...for stuff like tv shows and movies.
Let's start with this, if Hasbro signed a deal in any way with MOTU, they would have announced that. If Universal purchased the franchise from Mattel, then there would have been a press release. Then Universal branding and copyrights would be on the packaging (any new releases, and reprints of existing runs). The most recent releases all explicitly state that MOTU is owned wholly by Mattel.
He looks cool but $300 is insane. Companies need to take a step back with the overinflated prices. This toy is like $100 tops.
What would be really amazing, get the license for the 'bots from the original toyline. I have a Great Mazinger (with molded sticker chest, only missing a couple of missiles). Would love to get some friends for him at a decent price.
