Guardians of the Galaxy – Star-Lord Bust by Loot Crate
Pros
- Nice sculpt
- Good paint work
Cons
- None
Overall
The Star-Lord bust is packed in a small windowless box with some Guardians of the Galaxy branding and design elements, as well as artwork of the bust. The bust sits in a plastic clamshell, and can easily be placed back inside for storage. No assembly is required, and no additional accessories are included.
The bust stands at 4″ tall holding a blaster pistol in each hand. The bust sits on a small plastic display base. The bust itself has some nice sculpted details. Nothing about the sculpt looks soft, and there’s some really nice detail work on the helmet. The paint work is handled well, with clean lines between different areas. there are dark paint washes on the helmet, pistol, and jacket that add some extra depth to the sculpt. In-hand, it looks really nice for the size. I didn’t run into any quality control issues. No breakages, and no smudged or bleeding paint.
At just 4″ tall, the bust doesn’t take up much space on a shelf, and you should easily fit the entire team on a Guardians themed shelf. we’ll add pre-order links after the go live. Check out some select images below. In the gallery, you can see my photo and the official product images, including teasers for the upcoming releases.
Of Note, the eyes do not light up.
