What a GREAT set!
wow this is really impressive. the amount of parts and the base i'd say more than makes up for that price point imho
Not only a good replacement for the limited first release, but a great set overall.
I'm interested to see what the final packaging is going to look like given the size of the base and the steel boxing. The only thing I have to compare is the TDKR Two-pack and this crushes that set with the number of portraits and effect parts.
I'm sorry if I'm out of line, but I feel like another 100 bucks and u get a Hot Toys. Anyone feel the same? I understand if the answer is no lolz
I missed out on the first Wolverine years ago so I'm glad to see them revisit this version and improve upon it greatly. I hope this means we can expect them to revisit other characters that are considered grails at this point.
Lol...Hey I guess you could in some cases. But probably not with a light up base and 8 (count em EIGHT) headsculpts. Then there's also the difference in scale. 1/12 vs 1/6. I don't collect 1/6th scale as a whole so I'd never consider buying a 1/6th Wolvie like this. But this set pulled me in. 1/12th is my jam.
Great points
ahhh I might be hooked lolz
I really want to see all of those effects in action.
Also, it looks a bit like he's in a sleeveless sweater.
Sideshow has done comic Wolverine; the last one was $245/250 https://www.sideshow.com/collectible...38?var=1004381
It comes with a total of 4 hands and swap out arms. This comes with so much more. I collect 1/6 stuff too, but have been leaving the comic stuff for 1/12. Just so much more out there. A base like this would be another $40-50 if it were a Hot Toys release. And you'd never get even close to as many heads.
What an amazing set. And as crazy as it sounds, I think the price is fair for everything you're getting (comparing it to import releases in a similar scale, anyway).
but this in 1/6 omg droooooool
edit: including the sentinel base is value trap in my opinion
Great for the Wolverine Fans....
Nothing Special here to me...But the price IMHO...
At a $150 and your a Wolvie Fan. You can't go wrong =^)
There getting a lot of run, out of this "Logan Mold"...
for sure...
