Kotobukiya has released official photos and full details for an upcoming Marvel Comics – Thor “Avengers” Fine Art 1/6 Scale Statue. The statue stands at 17.5″ tall on a diorama base, and is fully sculpted. The Thor Statue can be displayed with the previously announced Captain America Fine Art Statue and an upcoming Iron Man Fine Art Statue. The statues are part of the Avengers series, and when displayed together form a larger battle scene.
The newest character to join the FINE ART STATUE lineup is Thor! This statue is massive in size, yet the quality of the overall statue has leveled up.
As with the FINE ART renewal series, Kotobukiya brings to life these characters in harsh battle scenes with dynamic action poses.
The very moment Thor swings his Mjölnir looks powerful from any angle. The details of the cloak and the natural curve and movement of the upper body have been carefully sculpted.
Iron Man and Captain America will soon be joining the Avengers FINE ART lineup, so be sure to line them all up to reenact the memorable battle scenes you can see in the films!
FINE ART statues all come with its very own serial number to prove that it is the only one of its kind in the world.
In Japan, the statue is scheduled for release in September. It will be priced at 41,800 Yen (about $379 USD). You can see additional photos after the jump.

Marvel Comics - Thor Fine Art Statue by Kotobukiya
Another well executed and appealing Koto statue. I generally like all of their statues, but especially so the sculpts that approximate western comic-art style and presentation.
