A new Warhammer 40,000 figure variant has been announced by McFarlane Toys. The figure is part of their Gold Label Series, and will be available exclusively at Walmart. McFarlane has posted the product page for the Blood Angels Primaris Lieutenant 7″ Scale Figure. The figure includes a Plasma Pistol, a Power Sword, and a display base. Pre-orders aren’t live at this time, but the figure is due out in April. See the new photos after the jump.
Lieutenants act as the right hands of their Captains by providing flexibility and helping to direct their battle-brothers in engagements. Battle Companies are often split into 2 Demi-companies, each of which falls under the command of a Lieutenant who leads his brothers unflinchingly into battle. Blood Angels Lieutenants are expected to take command, should a superior officer fall to the Red Thirst, and assume the role of the Sword of Sanguinius – failure is the only unforgivable sin in this role, while victory excuses any amount of savagery.
Product features:
- Incredibly detailed 7” scale figures based off the Warhammer 40k Franchise
- Designed with Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range of posing
- Includes a Plasma Pistol, a Power Sword, and a base
- Figure is showcased in Warhammer McFarlane Gold Label Series themed window box packaging
- Collect all additional McFarlane Toys Warhammer 40k Figures
Warhammer 40K - Blood Angels Primaris Lieutenant Gold Label Figure by McFarlane Toys

I have yet to see any of these in store, but I think I'd pick one up to mess around with if I did. They look fun and well made.
McFarlane seems to announce way more 40K figures than they actually release. I've ben waiting forever for the blue Primaris Space Marine to come out after Todd just released the unpainted version in wave 1.
A red exclusive and it's somehow not Target's? WTH.
Not crazy about the Primaris concept (would prefer 'First Born Marines'), but the Blood Angels is my favorite 1st founding chapter.
BBTS seems to get them, so will be keeping my eyes open. Would love to see McFarlane do some Orks too.
They are and they are! I'm really impressed by the quality.
I think you're thinking of the Ultramarines Primaris Veteran Sergeant, with the red helmet. The Intercessor was available as an all-grey "artist's proof" but has not yet been released in its originally advertised Ultramarine colours.
Gotcha. Yeah, the it's the assault intercessor sergeant that we have. Technically, tactial marines exist cocurrently with intercessors at the moment, by the way, though I doubt that'll still be true in a few years.

Just picked up the Lieutenant from Toys R Us; what a beautiful figure, but perhaps even more exciting is that details about the next wave of Todd's 40K line have apparently leaked.

Next up, we should be seeing the following:
• Reiver
• Reiver (Ap Variant)
• Genestealer
• Genestealer (Ap Variant)
• Raven Guard Veteran Sergeant
• Big Mek
• Big Mek (Ap Variant)
• Ork Meganob With Buzzsaw
• Ork Meganob With Shoota
• Ork Meganob With Shoota (Ap Variant)
Of these, I'm most looking forward to the Reiver, which is a really striking design.
The Raven Guard would also be a top pick for me, but for the fact that it's a Veteran Sergeant. I really want a vanilla Battle Brother after all of these Sergeants and Lieutenants and heavy weapons guys.
If that leaked list is correct/real, then we're STILL not getting the all-blue Primaris Intercessor yet? What the fuck?
Had quite the thrill today. Was out on a a limited hunt, and found one at my nearest Wal-Mart. Was practically dancing in the aisles.
I had contemplated buying one off amazon for a mark-up from a 3p Seller.
