Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Star Wars Black Series - Luke Skywalker, Jaxxon, Carnor Jax, and Darth Maul

What? That's not Carnor Jax, this is Carnor Jax.

If they wanted to release another Royal Guard with minimal effort they should've done Kir Kanos instead.
LAME. Minimal tooling figures.
When I think EU, I think Starkiller, Kyle Katarn, Mara Jade, Prince Xizor. Not these lame ass repaints.
I liked Heir to the Empire... that trilogy was a good read... too bad we didn't get 1st appearance Mara Jade instead of that Luke.
Finally Jaxxon! Would've preferred a more cartoony look like in the comics but, I get that they probably want to keep him consistent with the rest of the line.
It's clear the only figure to receive any effort here is Jaxxon. The rest are wildly inaccurate repaints. The Carnor Jax/Kir Kanos thing is incredibly embarrassing and shows why this current team at Hasbro is missing the mark. Couldn't even apply paint to Maul's hands? I appreciate the Ysalamiri though.
this rules. so cool they're still releasing legends figures. one step closer to a Dash Rendar & Kyle Katarn
But this is just a Royal Guard with a new cape and weapon. As someone who loves Crimson Empire this really irritates and vexes me.
When I think EU, I think Starkiller, Kyle Katarn, Mara Jade, Prince Xizor. Not these lame ass repaints.
Now I hope Darkhorse(Marvel!?) reprints the Crimson Empire and Tales of the Jedi omni's.....

About time the EU got recognized once more. Hopefully they will never do figures from that lame sequel trilogy ever again.
Maul looks great, and I can use him in my canon display as well!
These look great, but I really wish they came with at least another set of hands. You can't even do Maul's cool pose in the picture on the box!
I love me some Crimson Empire, but like everyone else has said. Hopefully, that is Kir Kanos and not Carnor Jax. If so, they missed painting his arms black.....they are not red. Only if you based it off the cover of the first comic from Crimson Empire 1, but that has changed throughout the series if I recall. I will be picking up Kir Kanos and possibly Luke.
The fucking rabbit from the old Marvel Star Wars comics? Get the fuck out of here, lol.
It's not the effing rabbit, it's the effing "realistic" version of him from some shitty Marvel cover awhile back that nobody reads.
Even though it's a lazy figure, I will support Heir to the Empire Luke because it's Luke from the REAL episode 7, 8, and 9.
All I can see when looking at Jaxxon is a Black Series Buck O'Hare. I have no knowledge of the character at all.
^^You beat me to it...
Is there any link between the Green Rabbit and Bucky O'Hare, coincidental or otherwise, cause there's enough similarities there to raise an eyebrow. Perhaps one was created in spirit of the other?
I like how the artwork shows Maul with lines on his hands and black insides of his hands, but the figure just has red hands that look like he's wearing gloves.
How lazy can Hasbro get? Apparently big time, since that's not even Jax!
I was never deep into EU, but glad they are doing stuff like this. I dig the Maul, will grab. And yeah, they should get the tats on the hands, looks out of place.
Let go! My nominees for the Black Series EU line: Kyle Katarn, Dash Rendar, Prince Xizor, Mara Jade, Darth Malak, Darth Sion, Darth Traya, Darth Krayt, Darth Malgus, Darth Plagueis, Ysanne Isard, Ulic Qel-Droma, Exar Kun, Naga Shadow...
If they wanted to release another Royal Guard with minimal effort they should've done Kir Kanos instead.
Wow, Jaxxon? That's a deep cut. I only heard of him because of that Marvel cover making fun of him some years back.

These look......rough. Some wrong colors, wrong details.....wrong SCALE.
