Press Release - Free Comic Book Day 2021 Exclusive Merchandise Announced

I'm just amazed how lazy Playmates is that they keep using outdated molds and it is not even the comic book molds. I wish Viacom wouldn't give them so much power over the license going forward but money talks...
I wouldn't take those if they were given away free on FCBD
Dear god. Playmates is just going to bust the tread off these crap molds. Playmates really has no idea what to do with no toon or movie coming soon do they? The fact turtles are not evergreen in toy aisles is shocking.
For the second week in a row, a saw a mother looking for turtles at Walmart. I told her go to 5below. They have the 4 turtles, they are 10 years old but they are the turtles. She said that’s all she needed and was waiting until they opened up. I have no idea why five below and ollies keep getting the 4 turtles from the 2012 series but they keep selling out.
I think Playmates should do a MOTU Origins style vintage line with more articulation.
At least they kept the Turtles’ eyes solid white. Now they won’t have lazy eyes like when they first released this mold so many years ago.
110 dollarydoos!?
Oof, they look better with the white at least. They must have spent a lot on those turtle molds and desperately need to use them to pay it off. The more I see the figs, the more I can appreciate the work they put into trying to make a really articulated classic turtle....Wish they had worked on it more before molds. I don't want these.
Thanks for kinda trying playmates...Origins style 90's turts...that's wassup. Get the old gang back together and bang it out.
