Hot Toys has shared a teaser photo announcing a new Star Wars 1/6 Scale Figure. The upcoming Boba Fett release will be based on his appearance in season 2 of The Mandalorian. The photo shows the heavily weathered armor from Chapter 14, when Boba Fett regains his armor from Din Djarin. We will update as when photos and details are released. Really hope they include a headsculpt and maybe even his pre-armor garb. I've started to doubt they'll include the clean armor as a swap out, I think they'll just do that for the Book of Boba Fett.
Meanwhile at Hasbro..."Here, have some old ass sculpt from 2005 but with a repainted face".
Ideally this needs to be a big deluxe set with the unmasked headsculpt, the Tusken outfit before he regains his armor, and a 2nd set of armor/helmet after he repainted it. They'll probably just wait and do a 2nd release with the repainted armor later on when his new show comes out this December.
If we're only getting the old weathered armor shown in the teaser, then I hope we at least get the an unmasked Temeura headsculpt. Also hoping Hot Toys eventually releases Ming Na Wen's character Fennic Shand since she's going to have a bigger role in the Fett spinoff show as well as appearing in the upcoming Bad Batch animated series.
Zero interest in the grubby look. The repainted, cleaned up version, though...!
The one thing that I dislike about Din Djarin's armor design is his helmet. I would have bought his Hot Toys figure but for that.

This one blew me away, everything I wanted and more, did not expect a two figure set! Can't wait!
When I saw this last night I actually gasped and my wife asked me if I was ok lol.
Very impressive set. We'll probably get the repainted armor version later on after his series comes out. Now bring on Ming Na Wen's Fennic Shand!
Man fett needs weight watchers.
If only the standard version had a removable helmet...
