McFarlane Toys - DC Multiverse 2020 Checklist

49 releases, and I think I could 13 non-Batman or immediately related to Batman figures.
Well. Since Death Metal will be a Thing. Please do
Death Metal - Darkseid
Anti-Monitor
Cryme Syndicate
Blame the buyers, Batman sells!!
Only ones I'm missing are the light blue variants for Batman 1000 and Animated Batman. Now I feel like I gotta get em. :/
These are slightly too big for me... IMO action figures shouldn't be bigger than 6" scale... I guess it really doesn't matter if you plan on leaving them in the box though... like Marvel Select... most people just leave them in the box I think.
I used to feel the same, but at this point it doesn't really matter to me.

There's 6 inch, Legends and Mattel Multiverse.
Which doesn't quite match with G.I. Joe Classified and SW Black Series.
That don't quite match with Toybiz Legends and DCUC.
That don't quite match with Mafex, SH Figuarts, Revoltech.
That don't quite match with One:12 Collective.
Which don't match with Diamond X Selects.
Which doesn't quite match with DC Direct, DC Collectibles.
And DC Collectibles doesn't match with DC Collectibles, depending.
So, pretty much nothing matches. I have items from each era and company, and just kinda bunch them together accordingly.
RE: McFarlane specifically, he's got 2 more years with DC, at least, so if you are doing the line or even parts of it, you'll have enough to fill entire shelves with them, which won't stand out.
That's my 2 cents on it, as a former "MAKE IT ALL THE SAME" guy. I've given up having Avengers vs Justice League in scale.
Jesus Christ 22 Batman figures. Come on Todd you have the entire DC Universe to make figures from.
DC Multiverse that's full of Batmans and Batman-related characters, lol.
It's like Kenner's Legends of Batman all over again.
Batman? Check
Batman? Check
Batman? Check, check, and check.
A checklist showcasing how creatively bankrupt DC has become.

You mean to tell me McFarlane made DC Superheroes that arent derivatives of Batman!?

A 7" scale figure standing next to a 6" one doesn't match at all. I have zero Selects and zero of these McFarlane figures in my collection for that reason. I think it was a total boneheaded move by McFarlane. They can put out every DC character and I'm not buying any of them. I'm not buying ALL of these to create another display.
Between Neca, DST, and Select I've got a pretty good 1:10 scale collection, so while I was really against the size change (and I still wish he had gone 1:12)I find I still have lots of figures that go great with McFarlane's Multiverse
