My only aesthetic problem with the Lui Kang variant is that torso has a less seamless transition we know Mcfarlane can do better with. Otherwise I prefer it over the standard version. But this is a justifiable variant to me.

Shao Kahn I'd personally stick with the gold. The silver just doesn't sees less in paint detail.

Liu kangs upper torso is either too large or the head is too small. It just looks like a bad videogame wrestler. While i prefer the gold armor kahn the silver armor is nice too. If i cant find one ill get the other.

Yeah his head looks way too small in the full body shot.

Liu Kang went from a Chinese Bruce Lee knockoff to a Korean Bruce Springsteen cosplayer.

Wish theyd lose the cartoony mannequin look and digitize real actors again. Also, they need to tone down the fatalities. 11s fatalities are beyond stupid. Just give me a brutal, painful spine rip and Im fine... I dont need to see someone put in a microwave for 2min on high and exploding into pudding.

Yah. Miss the good punch in the gonads moves, and simple but entertaining fatalities. Nothing like watchin’ milleena tongue skin an opponent or scorpion turning some poor schlub into a charred skeleton.

Just put a squidward tentacles head on him and youve got shirtless kylo.

Except for the monster/inhuman characters (like Baraka or Noob) everyone in MK11 is a digitized real person, they used facial mapping and scanning tech on various models/actors so there's not really any cartooniness there anymore. As for the fatalities, well it's kind of the franchise's running thing to keep on pushing the limit of violence on display. Plus basically all of the iconic classic fatalities are still included they've just now been reworked into the new brutalities system, even some of the dumb/silly classics have found their way in.

Yeah, the fatalities and X-rays have gotten ridiculous. I think the brutalities are far more effective as finishers.
