The Gremlins – Santa Stripe and Gizmo Figures are now up for pre-order via Target.com. The set, which is a Target Exclusive, is the newest Gremlins release is part of NECA’s tribute to the classic advertising campaign for the film. The first was a Summer Games Gremlin, followed by the Back To School Gremlin. The new Santa Stripe includes a fabric Santa outfit, a toy sack, a candy cane, and an in-scale Gizmo. It’s set for release on December 1st. The set is priced at $29.99.
Any fans of the Gremlins movies knows the rules: keep them out of sunlight, don’t get them wet, and never feed them after midnight. Break them, and your fuzzy, friendly little Mogwai will turn into a scaly, savage Gremlin. Although Gremlins released to theaters in the Summer of 1984, it went on to become a classic horror/comedy Christmas movie! Get into the holiday spirit with Santa Stripe, the leader of the mischievous monsters known as gremlins. Based off of a classic marketing ad in 1984, Stripe is dressed in a fabric Santa disguise complete with belt, Santa cap, and fuzzy beard; Stripe also comes with a Gizmo accessory he can fit into his cloth gift sack. Comes in window box packaging.
Gremlins - Christmas Gremlin Ultimate Figure Preview

I know this and the olympics one are accurate to the ads they appeared in but I wish they would add a standard Gremlin head...my OCD will not allow multiple Stripes in my display.
Does anyone know if the Back To School exclusive will be available internationally?
Wait? Do we get an IN SCALE Gizmo with it???
I wonder when they'll reveal the Gremlins accessory pack that was teased at Toy Fair in February that was supposed to include an unhatched Gremlin cocoon. I'm curious to see what else would come in the set considering each Gremlin release usually comes with plenty of accessories already.

what would be really cool is gremlins in the 1:10 scale. Would love gremlins that I can pair with my 1:10 scale figures.
Gizmo's arms look like they may have an articulation point at the shoulder. Hope so!
Never had a Gremlins figure so I can't really figure out the scale in my head, but is the Gizmo properly sized to be in scale with, say, a Pennywise or Michael Myers from NECA?
Edit: nvm, figured it out haha
The Gizmo took me by surprise, is that the first one in scale with the Gremlins?
I kind of like the scale since they're almost 1/6, maybe a little big, but can work with those figures pretty well.

Another NECA hit...
instant purchase just for that smaller scale Gizmo

I've been seeing Gremlins at Targets more than other properties, so will probably pick this one up if I see it.
So... buy this for the in-scale Gizmo or wait for Neca to release an Ultimate ULTIMATE Gremlin that includes Gizmo with a scared face? hmmmmm
I just want them to start making 2-3 packs that are the Gremlins in proper 1/12 scale to the regular 7 inch figures. Imagine if gremlins were in scale to Freddy?? Doc Brown?? Gremlins vs Predator ???

I was really going to get this guy when he went up yesterday, but after shipping and taxes he was $40.00 - just too much for me at the moment. It's been quite a year, and I have more than enough 'cool-looking' collectibles already...
He still does look awesome, though.

For those interested in this figure, you might go ahead and look for it at your local Target. I picked one up on Tuesday. I didn't realize it hadn't been officially released yet.
