Our friends at Kotobukiya have sent over a press release with photos and info for their next DC statue. They have revealed their Birds of Prey – Harley Quinn ARTFX Statue. This 1/6 Scale Statue will stand a little over 12″ tall on a logo base. Harley is depicted with her oversized mallet on her shoulders in her new costume from the film. The statue will be priced at $169.99, and will be released in January 2021 in Japan. Check out the press release below, and the photos after the jump.

Hobby manufacturing company, Kotobukiya (Tokyo, Japan), will release an all-new Harley Quinn statue from Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) as a Kotobukiya ARTFX statue in January 2021.
The main star from Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) who never disappoints with her outrageous and crazy action, Harley Quinn, makes her debut in Kotobukiya’s ARTFX series lineup!
With her sharp and daring glare, this ARTFX statue completely captures the essence of this colorful little devil. As seen on past ARTFX DC statues, the film’s title logo decorates the base. Harley Quinn can be displayed out of the box with minimal assembly required.
Coming up in the ARTFX series is “WONDER WOMAN 1984 MOVIE WONDER WOMAN ARTFX STATUE” that is currently in the works.

"With her sharp and daring glare". She actually looks tame and bored. 2 words you don't normally associate with Harley Quinn. She looks nothing like Margot Robbie, but Koto's known for making statues that are more comic/anime representation of a character, so I guess this is one of those.
Is there really a demand for this? I don't see it.
Aesthetics are just not there. Likeness? Character appropriate expression? This looks more confused as the movie, not that sexy, not that empowering. I just feel as mentioned in the promotion, that Kotobukiya needed to make this so they can use the license to make the Wonder Woman 1984 stuff and other things in the future. Got to love WB/DC.
