NECA has shared some new photos of their upcoming Terminator 2: Judgment Day – Sarah Connor and John Connor 7″ Scale 2-Pack. The set features the two previously released figures in a new Target Exclusive box set. Sarah includes three interchangeable heads, a shotgun, a pistol, a rifle, and a knife. John will include the T-800 arm, his hacking device, and a backpack. Look for these to be available some time in September. You can see the new photos after the jump.
And here’s another one of those European listings of a NECA product that wasn't announced yet.

A 2-pack of Sarah Connor with the exclusive John Connor from SDCC 2019.

Is that Sarah Conner like the NECA Ultimate Sarah made a few years back?
And Sarah's hair STILL looks like crap!
Thanks for the heads up! I'm wondering if they have a new European distributor who is dropping these listings to stores earlier than they should. That's 4 in the last 2 weeks.
Well, way to repack a Sarah Connor I already have but it will be nice to get a John Connor I don't. Sure I'd love the dirt bike but it was never essential for me as he only used it once.
Heh. I sold my sdcc John Conner for some decent bank coz Neca said the mold would never get a mass release.
I'm from Europe, but I only know 3 listings that didn't pop up in America yet: 2x Godzilla and the Sarah/John 2-pack. What's no. 4?
That said, I wonder if this set will use the new face-printing tech, or just be straight re-releases? The tech might help with John's 'eh' likeness, but Sarah's portrait is one of NECA's best ever (goofy hair aside), right up there with Arnold.
Like many of you, this set excites and annoys me all at the same time.
First off it was really misleading when NECA showcased John Connor on the back of the Kenner terminator tribute figures, which I thought meant it would see a wide release.
Then they pull the whole SDCC stunt and on top of the whole Checkout Button not working fiasco (which NECA still never addressed) many people, myself included weren’t able to preorder in time.
And lastly after saying a mix of “Figures of kids don’t sell,” and “It won’t be rereleased at retail,” they finally release the figure only after many people payed 2-3 times more for John on the aftermarket.
I’m glad patience paid off for me and others as I never went the EBay route even though I kind of really wanted the alternate head and the dirt bike, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth when they pull this stunt time and time again.
Also I won’t be surprised if this things hits retail at $60 or more with NECA’s current track record of less for more.
I just want a future Kyle Reese so I can say I have a Solid Snake toy from Metal Gear.
Maybe this will only be released for Europe and Asia. I know a number of friends from Europe that complain how its hard to get certain figures compared to us in North America and Asia. But wouldn't be surprised that some overflow of these that don't get snatched up make their way to some US retailers eventually too.
I feel this is sort of NECA making a move with the spectre and threat that Bandai is starting to get into the 1/9 or 1/10 scale with "Imagination Works." Hasbro has put their toe in with Star Wars "Hyperreal." Does not bode well for NECA or McFarlane. Interesting to see how aggressive license negotiations go in the future and for retro movies/cinema. There is another Cameron "universe" to be made with Avatar 2 coming.
NECA confirmed this is getting a US release in Target stores this Fall.
That whole “ John Conner won’t be at retail ever, and only available at sdcc” thing went out the window, huh. Well he seems to not include his bike, so there’s that difference I guess.
There is no fate but that which Capitalist Companies make for themselves. AND... the Terminator 'Tech Noir" and the 'Police Assault' were long gone too! Now they sell on eBay for $100-200 USD...yet I see they're being 're-released' Xmas 2020!
I have no problem whatsoever when NECA re-releases their regular retail figures, especially if they were going for ridiculous prices on eBay already. It's a great way to make sure that the fans can get their hands on them for an affordable price.
The only problem I (and a lot of other people) have is when they re-release convention exclusive items at retail that they had previously said would never go to retail. As some people have stated above, they ended up blowing tons of money on eBay to get the SDCC John Connor and he is being released again at retail. Sure, he doesn't have the T2: Battle Across Time head or the dirt bike, but I think those were the accessories everyone cared the least about anyway.
That said, I'm glad to be getting him for an affordable price since I don't have the SDCC version. It's a double-edged sword.
Well technically NECA has always said the SETS and Figures that are con exclusives would not be releases as THAT same Con exclusive. Just like the TMNT Movie set. THE SET in the 90's vhs box was only released as a con exclusive, As well as the Capture of Splinter set. But the figures were released as singles , so technically they have never lied or mislead anyone. Just like this T2 set. It is all about technicalities and loopholes. It is the only way some people can get the figures.

Did NECA really look at that Sarah Connor picture and think it's okay? That hair looks even worse than the first release!
Really want that John Connor. Was never able to pick up the SDCC version due to the whole checkout button issue. Anybody interested in just Sarah?
she looks like nigel tufnel.
