Storm Collectibles have been killing it with the video game figures. They started with Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter but have expanded into multiple games across multiple eras. All of which use their unique design style and scale. A couple figures popped out to me as a fan of DC stuff – Doomsday and Darkseid from Injustice. While video game based – they are large well done figures that can stand in for these guys in any multi generational DC line up. Today we are taking a look at Doomsday. He’s very faithful to the game and has all the elements Doomsday should have – grey skin, green trunks, bony protrusions throughout the body. He does have a pony tail, but hey they guy was trying to up his game for the ladies I guess. All in all it’s a great beefy figure that’s now hanging out on my all purpose DC shelf. We’ve run him through a set, read on to check out over 35 HD shots courtesy of Entertainment Earth!

Got a couple in. Doomsday today. Darkseid later this week. May pick up Bane and Lobo at some point too, but haven't yet.

I would like to get into this stuff at a later point. I watched an mk Goro unboxing on YouTube. It just looked like way too much going on for a figure to me. I know most people nit pick but are storm collectables worth it for the price?
I think these guys were for sure. McFarlane has changed the game though, especially with recent and future waves. Lots of well designed/constructed DC stuff at a good price.
As for the other lines, MK/SF - it's about visual choice. They are much bigger than SHF, and work really well with SFV aesthetic. But for SFII era, SHF might work better. Just depends on your taste I'd suppose.
I like articulation but its more of a quality control issue. Everyone loves neca but the joints are so damn brittle. I'd rather have a simpler Hasbro mass market piece with standard articulation then something that's bound to break or present difficulties posing. Especially at those prices.
Are they still making Superman?
Looks pretty good..
Could be on my list
That pin head though.
That is the only QC issue I have had with a Storm figure and I own probably 20+ Storm figures from the MK, SFV, SFII, Injustice, Golden Axe, and Tekken 7 lines... and I am definitely going to jump into the Soul Caliber line and possibly the Samurai Showdown and Darkstalkers lines...
Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll have to check these out.
Darkseid is up:

Are you a professional photographer? These pics are spectacular!
If someone wants to pay me to do pics for them, I'm open
I messed up and missed out on Doomsday. Does anyone know any stores with him in stock?
Darkseid sculpt is great too...
