You can see the product details below, and the photos after the jump.
Gwenpool—now breaking into the figure world!
MARVEL’s unique hero Gwenpool is now a 1/8th scale figure! Gwenpool has been recreated breaking the fourth wall based on an illustration by Gurihiru! Gwenpool, the hero who broke her way into the comic world, has been recreated with an energetic smile on her face (alternative mask part also included) in a dynamic pose.
The background features explosions and missiles sculpted with a forced perspective effect. The figure has been painted in a unique way that attempts to mimic the shadows and highlights normally seen in American-style comic books, allowing you to enjoy that familiar 2D style in a new 3D form! Be sure to add her to your collection!

Man, that is really tempting.
Beautifully done!
Are we sure this is legal? She looks like an underage anime girl. Think about the fictional children!
I literally just dropped $200 on the Sen-Ti-Nel Gwenpool statue this weekend (from Bluefin/Namco's website), and now I'll HAVE to get this too, as I'm basically a whore for anything Gurihiru/Gwenpool-related. Luckily this one won't be out for at least a year, so my wallet has time to prepare itself.
In the comics she's a high school grad, so yeah, she's as legal as pencils and ink can get.
I guess it all comes down to "How big of a Gwenpool fan are you?"
Yeahhhhhh... considering she hasn’t had a book in 2 years it’s kinda hard to justify hundreds of merch... but damn! I feel like I need much more than her ML figure.
But if you're looking for at least one more Gwenpool item, I would suggest the Mafex figure. I have it (more than one, actually), it's great, and it can still be had for about $100 on ebay (from both Japan and US sellers).
Aye their Gurihuru figs are off the chain. I’m definitely gonna bite on Gwen eventually and maybe Evil GP as well.
Ha! Wow you went all in huh? Nice GP collection. Final confirmation I need those Mafex jawns.
Gonna steal that Madcap recipe off ya too.
I'll grab a Morph for the boots and gloves cuz Zemo runs like fiddy-sixty bucks nowadays. I'll have to grab a couple Egos up just for some of those capes, they'll come in handy. Gracias my good man!
Oh yeah, Morph is a great (and much cheaper) option. Looks like a good color match. The only problem with Morph is that he doesn't have trigger-finger hands, though.
And they're practically giving Egos away on ebay.
Truuuuue about the hand. Hand accuracy drives me nuts. I might chop up a Forge for Reaver parts and steal his bits.
I also broke down and got the Evil Gwenpool when HLJ put her on sale. I was expecting that she'd be a repaint of Gwenpool, but turned out she's a completely new figure! I also used the Gwenpool head with the longer hair on Evil Gwenpool, I just love the Gurihiru art style especially the way he draws Gwenpool, since Evil Gwenpool is supposed to be the adult version of Gwenpool, it fits.
The Sen-Ti-Nel Gwenpool statue looks really good too! Like I said, any toy/statue that captures the Gurihiru art style, like the Good Smile and Sen-Ti-Nel statues, are absolute gems. I actually never bought the Hasbro Gwenpool, because it's not Gurihiru.
Meanwhile, there were two Gamestop-exclusive Gwenpool statues that were pretty hideous. Gwen just does not work as well when she's depicted in a relatively standard art style or (even worse) sexed-up with big ol' titties.
And I know what you mean by the Gurihiru style. Clearly Japanese anime in origin, but there are enough differences - and just a touch of western/Disney influence - that sets it apart. It's just such a clean, expressive, and appealing style that works so damn well and it's gotten me to read books they've drawn even if they were about characters I wasn't into.
Gurihiru are one of the reasons I'm glad there's more female artists in comics these days. I mean, can you imagine Gwenpool drawn by, say, Rob Fucking Liefeld?
*EDIT* I think that's actually a parody of a Liefeld drawing (Lolfeld, missed that), but it's close enough that I thought it was actually his. But I could 100% see him drawing a woman exactly like that, and that's all that matters.
Lmao. Yep, thems are garbage.
I feel the same way about ML... at least they tried with their Miley Cyrus figure.
FedEx delivered her today. Totally, 100% worth it.

P.S. - The comic book images on the base are stickers that you have to apply yourself, and it is a pain the ass. For a statue at this price point, the images should just be printed on there. But after some frustration, I got them on well enough. Annoying, but the statue still is completely rad nonetheless. But for those who are curious, the statue is not connected to the base and can be displayed by itself.
So, if you're at all interested, I say go for it.
Holy shit, I fucking love Gwenpool with all my heart. Well, at least the Hastings/Gurihiru version, anyway.
