Solicitations have gone out for a new The Dark Knight – Batman Dynamic 8ction Heroes (DAH) Figure coming from Beast Kingdom. The 1/9 scale figure will stand about 8″ tall, with over 26 points of articulation. The figure is based on Batman’s appearance in the second film of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy. Batman joins the previously announced figure based on The Joker from the film. Batman includes three interchangeable lower jaws, five sets of interchangeable hands, Batarangs, a sticky bomb launcher, a grappling gun, bat darts, a mini smoke bomb, and a glider backpack attachment.
The figure is set for release in November. It’s priced at $110. Check out photos and additional details after the jump.
Beast Kingdom is proud to introduce fans to the latest 1/9 scale, realistic action figure, The DAH (Dynamic 8ction Heroes) Dark Knight Batman. Based on the most popular batsuit from Christopher Nolan’s seminal trilogy, the figure uses high composite materials to recreate every fine detail down to the texture on the suit and weaponry. With 26 points of articulation, the Dark Knight DAH is one of the most posable figures yet, and includes three replacement mouths, a branded stand with a bracket, as well as five pairs of replacement hands for fans to recreate the most exciting scenes from the films! No Batman would dare leave his bat-cave without his set of high-tech weaponry, and this set doesn’t disappoint. Included are: One sticky bomb launcher, a grappling gun, bat darts, and a mini smoke bomb, plus Batman’s glider backpack attachment!
The Dark Knight - Batman Dynamic 8ction Heroes Figure by Beast Kingdom

These 8action figures with actor portraits have been consistently mediocre-to-awful on the prototypes and released products and their statues aren't much better. I was hoping they were improve with what they showed with the recent Joker and Jack Sparrow, but this is pretty bad. Paint also seems to be an issue, but the poor sculpts are glaring on these figures and even some of their statues of animated characters.
I’m kind of regretting not getting the Mafex dark knight series.
Those teeth look so weird, almost like he's wearing teeth whitening strips haha
Shame that the only real selling point that's "unique" is the swappable mouths but yeah not executed great at all. I'm sure there is a market for figures between the 6-12 inch scale, but unless the gimmicks, features, detail is there only few would buy this. The thing is if you can bring all the features from the HotToys down in scale with the tiniest of quality drop if any, this would sell.
Nolan Batsuit 2.0, has very good SHF and Mafex for 1/12 and pretty excellent Hot Toys for 1/6 (1/4 as well). Don't see too much for Batsuit 1.0 (for Batman Begins) in market which is a bit sad.
Seems like there's a lot better looking Batman figs than this for a much lower price tag.
Do we REALLY need another Bale Batman figure? That license has been milked out to the max. Happy with my v3 from Mafex thank you very much.
And we don't have a 1/10 Dark Knight either. You know, the most popular scale after 6"... It's my number one dream figure and it's been made in just about every other scale in 10 different ways. Neca, Diamond Select, DC Direct and Mcfarlane have no Dark Knight in scale. They just keep taunting me like this...
Who do I have to hang upside down from a wire and growl at to make this a reality?!
