Pre-order goes up Friday and it is an exclusive so it might go fast.
I'm counting on that it's shipping in a couple months, so hopefully it's not so limited. Also possible it was going to be an SDCC exclusive and was delayed now.
But I'm picking it up either way, just hope the $125 is worth it. That's the same price as Gordon last year with the bat signal.
You're probably right, this is around the time they usually would be announcing SDCC exclusives. Unfortunately you just never know with Mezco exclusives how the experience is going to go. But I wish luck to everyone who is going to buy it! I hear they did some work on their order process to make it more efficient, so we shall see.
Another $125 exclusive?
Dear Mez,
Kindly go fuck yourself.
Warmest regards,
Me.
Another Mezco exclusive.......
Meh, pass.
gotta see offical figure images, as a huge fan of Christopher reeve superman this might be one to get considering i missed out on the neca one, but then mafex might do one...
Nope.
I think Mezco would instill more faith in a market for this niche if they had $80-$90 regular versions for online/specialty stores and $125+ exclusives on their site with all the works and extra stuff.
Because they would most likely realize that people aren't going to tolerate the hiking and limited releases forever...
Nope. They sucked me in with the Keaton Batman. These prices are out of hand now.
Asking 125 bucks, sight unseen? I know the track record here is good, but for that much money I'd at LEAST wanna see a prototype head or something...
I was a HUGE 1978 Superman movie fan as a kid. I wore out a few VHS tapes of the movie. I used to run around the house with a towel around my neck and my Superman PJs as a toddler. This might be the one piece that could wrestle me out of my toy retirement.
My Neca one is broke, so if this is good, it'd make a good replacement.
I still have my Hot Toys Chris... I'm good.
The NECA one is great, and it was a lot cheaper.
Sorry, but these One:12 figures are overpriced crap. They're basically 6" Barbie dolls with a little more articulation and real-life doll clothes.
Your Barbie clothes comment is literally one of the funniest things I've read in a TOY FORUM. All action figures are technically dolls, regardless of whether or not they have cloth clothes. Using that against them is legitimately laughable. But ok. Man, sometimes I miss not spending more time here.
Well, that's totally your opinion. A lot of people like the One:12 figures.

DANG IT... been busting my hump over here in quarantine... didn't know they were right on my tail...
dang...
Oh Mezco; what a bunch of wankers.
I might actually have a Mezco collection if every figure worth having wasnt an exclusive.
dang...
you should be nothing but super proud of that custom, regardless of what Mezco does.

Just noticed this has a 6 per person limit so most likely the quantity will be there for people. They've been reducing their more limited runs to only 2 per person. This will probably end up on BBTS with a slight price mark up as well.

EEEEP... That is REALLY... REALLY Tempting. ooooooo... forwarded the pic to my wife, her instant response "OOOOOooooooo dreamy!"
Trunks better be a separate piece and not just stitched in like Aquaman or rubberised like Classic Superman...
