NECA has announced that they will be re-releasing their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990 Movie 7″ Scale Turtles in new 2-packs. The 2-packs will be available exclusively at Walmart stores in the US, as they are the new home for NECA’s movie related TMNT figures. The sets include Leonardo with Donatello, and Raphael with Michelangelo. Each figure includes character specific weapons, swap out hands, interchangeable bandanas, and more. They are scheduled to ship out in July. No word on what the price will be. See the new in-packaging photos after the jump.

Now it's just a matter of getting my local Walmart to actually stock their toy shelves
This does make the 3 day fight for the 4 pack seem a lil less worth it. But cool for those still trying to get them.
Although I understand why they moved the license from Game Stop it's a bummer it went to Wal-Mart. Of all the lines I collect, Marvel, DC, WWE I have had the worst luck getting their exclusive figures/waves/lines.
It does seem like they have been adding more exclusives up for per-order so maybe that will happen here. There isn't a single store exclusive that doesn't make me miss TRU. With them I always had a solid 80-90% chance to get their exclusives either in store or online if I really tracked it down.

Yeah... not going to lie, it crossed my mind, but I can't justify rebuying all for turtles for 1 different bandanna. And that's fine, these sets aren't really meant for people that already have them. It's for all the people that still aren't aware these exist that will see them for the first time at Wal-Mart.... or on a scalpers eBay page.

Those of you who haven't been able to find the movie Casey and Raph 2 pack, or missed out on the Super Shredder, Neca is now offering a one week window to preorder them the way they did Tokka and Rahzar on their website. Window closes on 8/28 at 11am EST...so jump on it while you can!
