Listings are popping up on various European and Chinese online retailers for two previously unknown Godzilla 12″ Head-To-Tail Figures from NECA. The new figures are variants of the Godzilla Figure from Godzilla vs Biollante (1989), and the Godzilla Figure from Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S, which were both revealed during Toy Fair 2020. The Godzilla 1989 variant is a Biollante Bile Covered Godzilla Figure. The other is a Godzilla 2003 variant currently begin called the Kiryu’s Blast Attack Godzilla Figure. The images and listings come via Distrito Max.
The images, at this time, are very low resolution. The figures are listed for release between August and September 2020. We will update with further details and better photos when they become available
Variants Revealed for the NECA Godzilla 2003 and Godzilla 1989 Figures

Those would look a lot cooler if he had a Biollante or a Kiryu to fight...
I mean... Literally what's the point of having these Godzilla variants if we don't get the accompanying Kaiju to complete the scene? It'd be like if we got Mattel's DKR Joker with the batarang-in-the-eye head, and no Batman to go with it...
I'll just stick to the original ones.
These are more enticing to me than the regular versions but yeah I agree with the previous comments. Don't matter without the Kaiju to go with them. SHM Biollante is incredibly expensive now, if NECA came out with one that was even $150 people would still buy it. Their no monsters besides Godzilla stance is just fucking stupid at this point.
I hope they don't point to any sales data from the new movie stuff to prove their point at all since I had zero for those figures. Literally anyone with a Godzilla collection will want SOME other monsters to go with them.
I would still like a 1998 Godzilla. Shrugs*
The green one looks like they just dropped some paint on it and that's it, but is that how its supposed to look.
Plot twist: these are the only Con-Exclusive NECA's we get this year! Randy Falk hand-painted each one!
I don’t think there’s much chance of them doing the 98 Zilla. Even if they wanted to, I imagine that would be shot down by Toho. I’m not surprised by these variants. We’ve seen just about every one of their Godzilla molds get repainted at least once. So I don’t expect these to be con exclusives.
Only making Godzilla is getting tired. I agree with everyone else these are utterly pointless without their counterparts. Neca is rubbing me wrong of late. They need to find their footing because they just seem to be throwing anything at a wall and see what sticks. I have total faith they can come back roaring, but until then, I’ll stick with The few horror preorders I have.
Something for NECA Goji fan...
I guess..
Kinda fitting for their last Godzilla figures
Godzilla 1989 - Biollante Bile Godzilla Figure by NECA - The Toyark - News

Weird, I don't remember the episode of Double Dare where Godzilla got slimed... Good thing it's a Target exclusive though, a figure no one wants at a retailer that can't keep toys on the shelves! It's a match made in heaven!
I have never seen another instance where customers soured on a toy company so fast. I take no pleasure in making that statement. None.
I'm fine with NECA, but mainly because they don't make a lot of exclusives that I give a shit about, and the exclusives they DO put out have been easy for me to find. Had no problem getting my hands on the Target and Specialty store Alien waves, and I'm hoping that holds true for the Walmart wave with Ash and Kane coming up.
Turtles I gave no shits about, thankfully.
I mean it happens in the film right? I'm not imagining it? I'll probably pick him up since I'm getting Biollante. AwesomeCollector.com has a great deal on Biollante if anyone's looking.

Man, NECA really missed out on an opportunity to sell buildings and effects.
How come they don't do Jet Jaguar?
