I’m getting these. Bruce Campbell is the man. That said, I’m still struggling with the price point on these. Funny thing is if reaction was $10 a piece I’d buy every single figure. At $18 I have yet to buy one. How many are like me?

Sam Walton left Kmart to found Walmart on the idea that selling A $10 item at $7 was better, because customers would buy 2 or more at that price. Which is still in business?

There's no denying that these figures are cool, especially on the cards. I really dig them. However, your point is a valid one. I was buying almost every ReAction figure when they first came out. It was hard to resist at $10 a pop. But once that price started creeping up, it was much harder to justify.

Yooooo, this reminds me of the old Palisades Army of Darkness figures that now go for an insane premium, since half the line were blind bags. They were actually pretty good figures. I don't really collect this line but i just might have to get some of these

DUDE. I'm totally like you in that respect. I'm constantly bitching about Super7's insane ReAction figure prices. Like you said, $10 a figure for what we're getting is reasonable. $14 was pushing it. $18 is INSANE. It's so totally not worth it.

But FUCK...this announcement is testing me, man. The AoD line is pretty awesome and I may fold. I even turned my my nose at their resent Aliens figures but we have NECA for that. And compare the prices...$25 for a NECA Xeno with multiple PoA and accessories or $18 for Super7's 5PoA figures with nothing?

But the fact remains that if I DO bite, it'll be for the bare minimum, whereas if the price was $10 a figure, I'd consider army-building deadites (and I'm NOT an army-builder). Guess Super7 doesn't want my money.

Clearly the people who run Super7 are NOT in it for the long haul. They have no idea how to run a business.

These look good and I never thought of the point that NECA is only a little bit more and you get way more. Now that is something to think about. Anyways, though, these do look good. The TV show was funny, I didn't watch the third season. The sculpts are better for sure. I'm not gonna complain about price anymore. It is what it is and Brian Flynn explained the pricing so I'm okay now. The Transformers stuff they are doing would look good with larger Combiners(talking 18-22" stuff) and Citybots, with 3rd party and Hasbro/Takara. .

Your right, but Bryan Flynn stated that they do limited runs of these figures and that is why the cost is so much. He did an interview with Pixel Dan a few weeks ago and another one, that I think is on their YouTube channel. I'm just gonna limit what I will buy, the sculpts are better for sure on these.

    1) I have my full series of Palisades AoD figures.
    2) That price point is insane for these.
    3) I also have so, so , so many other AoD Ash figures it's gotten to the point of being bored when I see new ones.

Absolutely happy for anyone who wants and gets them. Just for me it's gotten to the same point as "How many Optimus Prime as a truck do I need?"

Yup. Way more value with NECA for an average of $10 more (or less) after tax.

Don't watch it. It's horrible. At the end of the second season a dispute forced out the original showrunner and the whole storyline/tone of the show changed, starting with the season 2 finale. It completely turned to shit from that point onward. You can read about it here: https://tv.avclub.com/updated-craig-...ead-1798255766

Sucks, since the first two seasons were wonderful. Even my girlfriend, who is NOT an Evil Dead fan, enjoyed them. But we both hated season 3 to the point that we just gave up and never finished it.

I've made up my mind. I'm going to buy the Hero Ash, and nothing else. But if it was $10 a figure I'd buy the entire line and multiples of the Deadites. Oh, well.

I love Army of Darkness, one of my favorites. I got into collecting 3.75" because of Palisades (just before 25th GI Joes got released).

As much as those old AoD figs are brittle, these are an insult to the fans.

It's kind of weird how S7 is doing it. They're just revealing fully produced figures instead of doing any sort of preorder to gauge customer desire and then don't have a number to base production on. Like you guys are saying, maybe some people would've bought 8 Deadites to create an army and then they'd make more.

In some ways, it's definitely nice to just be able to order and get something really soon after reveal, but I feel like if they did it differently maybe they could lower the price.
