Mortal Kombat 11 - Spawn Figure with Mace

I’m more of sword person, but I gotta say that the mace feels more fitting for The Spawn than a sword.
Its like when malibu stacy got a new hat.
It's better than that very first Spawn figure that had a wooden board with a big nail on top.
This guy who washes the toilet
The axe is coming up next I guess.
Yeah, one of his grab moves in game is that he pulls out the axe from nowhere and chops you, then the sword and stabs you, then the mace and swings a home run on your head. So if they need a third printing, I'd guess the axe.

And I want all 3 damnit.
That mace is much cooler-looking than the sword was. Very bad-ass.
That said, why do all of his weapons have to have the goofy green Spawn eyes on them? Just looks silly.

Does anyone actually use the bases on McFarlane figures?
I'm glad I got the sword version.
Luckily I am just interested on the figure itself, they could pack it with a pillow, for all I care.
But what I would really love to know is why the decision on changing it to a mace, no one seems to know that for sure!
As for why it was changed from the sword at all, McFarlane has a history of doing variants that seem unjustified.
Todd retroactively decided the sword should be exclusive to the Kickstarter figure.
Oh Todd!
That damn mace. The biggest controversy in toys lol
