A few new product pages have been added to the NECA Toys website. The updates give us a look at a few upcoming Back to the Future collectibles! The new license was originally announced at Toy Fair 2020. Today, they have pages up for the Marty McFly Ultimate Figure, the animated style Toony Classics, and a new Diecast DeLorean.
The Marty McFly Ultimate 7″ Scale Figure is based on his appearance in the first film. The figure includes a backpack, a skateboard, a camcorder, a guitar, and two swap out portraits. The figure is due in August. The new Toony Classics feature figures from the Back to the Future: The Animated Series. These figures are very similar to the popular Toony Terrors horror figures. Included are Doc Brown with Einstein, Marty McFlay, and Biff Tannen. Look for these to hit in August. The last item is a Diecast Metal 6″ DeLorean Time Machine, which looks like it would fit in perfectly with their CINEMachines line. The deicast Time Machine is set for a September release.
Check out photos and details after the jump.
UPDATE:
Two other Back to the future Ultuimate Figures have been revealed. These include the Ultimate Biff Tannen, and the Ultimate Part 2 Marty McFly! Both due in September.

Back to the Future - Ultimate Marty McFly, Toony Classics, and Diecast Time Machine by NECA

This stuff is awesome and hats of to NECA for finally getting these immortalized they way they should be. That said, what they hell are they smoking? $50 for a 6 inch delorean? I just bought a Jada in that scale for $7....and the 1:24 scale for $20.
Updated with Biff and BTTF 2 Marty.
I wish they didn't put "NECA" on the hoverboard, I get it can't say "Mattel" but maybe just leave it blank then?
Hope they're going to be able to use Christopher Lloyd's likeness for an Ultimate figure at some point.
Just awesome. Gotta get Marty and Biff. And yeah, I'd love a Doc Brown as well.
They should have went with ‘Mallet’ because that’d be a very easy tweak to correct.
I have the 6” scale mattycollector hoverboard, so I’m covered.
Just ordered both Marty figures!! Hope we get a Doc eventually.
BTTF II Marty might need a headswap with the '85 Marty haha
The trilogy has a lot of potential for figures. Doc Brown is a must for sure, hopefully from all 3 films. Then I'd want Griff, Mad Dog, Wild West "Clint Eastwood" Marty. I'd also want a Jennifer with swap out Elizabeth Shue and Claudia Wells portraits.
I find it amusing that NECA shows a "concept shown" text on the car because it's not even anything they made, it's the 1:24 scale car made by Welly with the windows blacked out, lol. You can buy those for like $30 bucks or less. Welly even put out a hover mode version. I'm kinda wondering if NECA is basing their car on Welly's or just bough the Welly tooling or just thought nobody would notice.
I think I'm the only person excited about Biff. Never thought, there would be Back to the Future action figures. All the characters in this trilogy were great
Am I the only one who thinks the mouth on 85 Marty makes him look a little doofy?
And for $50, that time machine better have more than just spinning wheels. I'm still heartbroken about the Hot Wheels Special Edition Elite being cancelled.
The animated figures are neat, but I'll likely only get Doc so he can drive that DeLorean if it ever gets released.
Biff might make a great Driver figure if he scales good with the Ryan Gosling Blade Runner figure...
That said, hobby RC cars are typically 1:10 scale. All someone needs to do is produce a licensed delorean shell and that would be perfect. Either way you could make a fully RC version in 1:10 scale for around $200 - $250 and not only would it look the part but it would actually function.
The 1:10 scale figures are perfect. Will get all three and any others they release in this line. But unless they make that Delorean something special it's a hard pass. It should be noted that the Delorean is as much a character in that film as are the Doc and Marty. It's an integral part of the story.
Well there goes my hopes of NECA making a remotely affordable to-scale DeLorean. I can’t imagine what’s driving the price up. Maybe it’s the license for DMC? Either that or they just thought they could bank off the nostalgia people had for the movie and they wouldn’t notice the price?
The 1:10 scale RC sounds like a great idea however someone has to make the RC shell first.
Oh well at least the figures look nice, of course $27.99 for what you get is asking a bit much if you ask me.
I never thought NECA would make a 1/10 scale Delorean, I think it's way out of their wheelhouse to design a car and also probably impossible to get their figures inside of it. It'd be worthless without that feature. Plus all the little details that would have to be inside the car to make it a BTTF car, just too much for what they do IMO. Not at their price point, probably would have to cost $150-200 and stores wouldn't wanna carry it.
Designing a scaled down car would be something they'd just sub-contract outside anyway. And while these figures don't really look like they're designed to be seated naturally in a car, that doesn't mean they couldn't make another version of the same characters specifically designed for the car. The fact that they're making an in scale Bruce the shark for their Jaws figures makes me think Neca making a Delorean for these figures might be possible. Im sure people are already asking them about it, as well as Doc.
