Hasbro sent word about some team changes on the Star Wars brand this morning. Internal shuffles are the norm at Hasbro but of note is the retirement of Mark Boudreaux. He has been with Kenner / Hasbro since 1976 and the Star Wars team since it’s inception. He weathered all the storms, all the trilogies, all those periods of drought, and worked on almost every iteration of Star Wars since it began. We wish him the best and thank him for his years of work making the stuff we love. Read on to check out the other changes below.
· After 43 fantastic years creating some of the most iconic Star Wars toys and vehicles Mark Boudreaux will be retiring. His work has had a tangible impact on the Star Wars universe and been formative in creating the Hasbro Star Wars brand we know today.
· Chris Reiff will be joining the Hasbro Star Wars design team as an Associate Principal Designer. With experience in the industry and extensive knowledge of the Star Wars galaxy, including working professionally on Star Wars for 25 years, Hasbro is thrilled to have someone of Chris’ caliber join the team.
· Product Design Manager, Sam Smith will be moving off the Star Wars brand. After a successful tenure with Hasbro Star Wars, Sam will remain in the Hasbro family and lend his talents to a number of Hasbro action brands.
· Vickie Stratford, Senior Director of Product Design, will continue her role as design lead on the brand.

Star Wars Changes at Hasbro – Mark Boudreaux to Retire & More
Well dang, then thank you Mark Boudreaux for all the great toys!
We will definitely miss him, but yeah, well deserved retirement.
Hope he gets all the joy he has given us in his retirement years.
He's worked so hard to give us some amazing toys. A massive salute to him, and I wish him a happy retirement.
All the more reason to reissue the Millennium Falcon in The Vintage Collection line. That would be a nice sendoff.
