Three new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Loot Crates have been announced, with at least one new NECA figure to be included. They are offering crates based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from Mirage Comics, which will include an exclusive Shredder 7″ Scale Figure. The other two crates are based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade Game, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1980’s Cartoon. You can buy one, or you can grab all three and get another exclusive figure. That figure is Bebop in a Bunny Suit 7″ Scale Figure (not pictured) from the TMNT episode “The Turtles and the Hare”. They are also offering a chance to buy all three sets, plus the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990 Movie Set, which included the Spirit of splinter exclusive figure.
UPDATE:
NECA has confirmed that all three Crates will include an exclusive figure.
The crates are priced at $49.95 plus shipping. We’ll update with further details on the crates and and when they become available. You can purchase them Here. Check out the FAQ after the jump.

New NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Loot Crate Announced

By Mirage Shredder, they mean IDW recolor cock-up Shredder. Still a cool variant to have.
I need to know what the cartoon figure will be. Thats a hell of lot of money to not know what Im getting. The fact neca still cant stick turtles properly at target gives me little interest in a variant when I still cant find rocksteady and bebop.
I was almost excited about what the video game variant might be, but then I realized that if the art shown is correct, it's from the original Turtles Arcade game, NOT Turtles in Time. Actually kind of a let down for me.
I'm not buying anything NECA TMNT after Bebop and Rocksteady, unless I can get a hold of Bebop and Rocksteady near retail price. Been checking 5 targets regularly, and playing the target.com dance since November. I enjoy a hunt, but not this much. Just agitating.
If they announce a full second run of the original versions of release to meet demand, even if it comes down the road, I'm good with that. Alt colored repaints a no go for me.
It's pretty shitty to hide a figure behind THREE crates. Two of them don't include a figure of their own and are still fifty fucking dollars?
And the extra loot crates they're essentially charging $90 now to get that Spirit Splinter? I got that one and that was high enough at like $55 shipped.
What you got in the first one was a sticker, a pin, a shirt, a headband, and Splinter That is not worth anywhere near $50 without the figure. I've always hated random crate shit and this is just even worse.
All 3 crates include a figure according to Randy on Twitter.
So...I'm guessing that if NECA follows past marketing trends, that VG themed crate is gonna be April.
Not gonna lie...I'm digging that repaint of the Shredder. If I didn't already have my NYCC one, and hate the "blind box" mentality of Loot Crate in general I'd be all over that. Most of the stuff they give out with the featured item is miscellaneous junk and that figure is not 50 dollar good.
Easy pass on Bunny Bebop though. I love the cartoon versions, but it's just not something I'm willing to go crazy and snag every variant of.
I wish NECA would stop making exclusive figures for Scam Crate.
Again, this is something I would buy from my local Target, but instead I will pass because I will never deal with LC again.
I'm excited for the figures (and even what some of the random items might be; the Foot Clan headband was cool), but I just hope Loot Crate improves the way they ship things. The TMNT 30th box had one piece of tape holding it shut for shipping and all of the items were just thrown in the box, no packing materials of any kind.

I wish everything wasn't tied to getting that other figure, I don't collect the Mirage stuff at all, so that's getting sold. I'm iffy on keeping the Arcade stuff too but want all the cartoon stuff.
The first Amazone Kindle Fire I ordered was shipped in a box that said Amazon Kindle Fire on it. Well I suppose it did, since it was stolen off my doorstep. At least they replaced it.
If the cartoon one is a cartoon painted version of their videogame slash mold, I'm in for it. But, otherwise I'm probably not gonna bother with odd ball variants of main stay characters.
I bit the bullet on my first Loot Crate subscription with this. That Shredder just looks too awesome to miss.

I am a little worried however, about the effect the Corona Virus might have on - not only this subscription set - but on collectibles in general. Anyone else seeing incredibly long delays and cancellations in our future? (And that's assuming things get better. Right now, it's not looking so hot.)

I'm wondering how this will affect SDCC, if it even takes place. Now is the time when they're probably finishing designs or beginning production for all of their exclusives. And if everything's shut down then they'll either have nothing for sale there or be even more limited.
I wouldn't worry about delays, it's likely but not necessarily so. And in the long run, it's better and worth the wait to receive a good product than to have them rush out something subpar instead.
So if I'm reading this right, each crate includes a figure... one is the repainted Mirage Studios Shredder pictured, one is a video game figure we haven't seen yet, and one is a cartoon figure we haven't seen yet. And if you buy all 3 you get the bonus Bunny Suit Bebop to go with them? And they even offer the option of still getting the blue Spirit Splinter from the previous loot crate. So that means if you go all in, you can get 5 figures right?
It appears Splinter is sold out as of now and they added a silhouette of Bebop.
I got sucked into the Shredder crate to go with my original 4 turtles.
I'm hoping the shirt is some comic art.
1 figure per crate, plus a bonus figure...
Total: $181.75 for everything (My lootcrate receipt)
4 figures retail value: $100 + tax (CA 10.25% = $10.25) = $110.25
Differential: $71.50 dollars
Extra per fig: $17.80
Maybe I can ebay all the extra junk, sorry, stuff, for $20, maybe more.
Bringing down the per fig cost to $12.
I'm not totally into the Shredder. Might sell that. I know I'll keep the rest.
My total for the extra costs per fig at that point would be $36 beyond "retail".
Seems worth it to me. Ordered all the lootcrates. Turtle Power.
As of right now, Bebop and Rocksteady have about the same upcost per figure.
Not happy about being saddled with lootcrate, but, it's extra extra tmnt fig stuff they probably wouldn't make if not for the lootcrate partnership. So far it's all wild variants.
I'm not interested at all in the Spirit of Splinter, Mirage Shredder Blue repaint or Bunny Bebop.

(The Gremlin with all the extra's was cool but didn't make it)
So far I am interested in all revealed Cartoon TMNT figures!
I am sometimes interested in the video game versions if they are different enough - like Slash! He is awesome!
However I despise high priced mystery packaging with a passion
And a $50 blind box figure buying is a price that is outrageously over the top without knowing what the figure is. I'm not interested in repaints and so far all figures have been repaints with some added accessories.
