Oh my, the 80s are MORE ALIVE than ever!
Those Plasma Series figures look like really nice sculpts, but it seems pretty lame that only Winston has the proton beam effect.
Seriously? Wal-Mart?
These exclusives (Especially of figures that I'd want mint on card) are really getting irritating...
Oh gosh, if a new Gonk droid is the only new Vintage Collection figure Hasbro has to show I might just scream. I had such hopes.
So, aside from the Snowspeeder, have they showed off any SW stuff that we hadn't already heard about?
A disappointing number of new sculpts being shown here. Is this just just a preview on the first day? If not, Hasbro must have had their production costs increased, or their budget slashed, or both.
I thought I checked out of legends but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamnnn Spiderman looks nice on that buck. Looks like the super strength spidey from toybiz.
Then you got the REAL Peter Parker. Gwen looks great. Movie figures look fantastic, but I enjoy my 12" figures of the characters. Took too long and might be a hard pass.
I'm hoping that Movie Deadpool comes with an unmasked head.
I will be damned... Hasbro's gonna get me to buy ANOTHER Spider-Man figure!
That prof X wheelchair had better just be a stand in until they make the proper luxurious movie one with X wheels.
I think I’ll hold out for the DOFP X-Men suits. They may even include Wolverine’s un-used mask.
I think I'm going to pass out from all of these amazing Marvel Legends reveals. Iron Man 2020, Nimrod, the Spider-Man cartoon figures...so much amazing stuff! Hasbro rules.
The big shocker, however, are all of the Fox X-Men/Deadpool figures. It totally makes sense, now that Disney has Fox and all, but I was NOT expecting them. Kudos for Xavier and Magneto having heads from both actors included. The Hugh Jackman likeness is spot on, as well.
A lot of great stuff so far. As my profile name and avatar suggest I'm a big Apocalypse fan and I've been sour that I never completed the BAF because I didn't want most of those figures so getting him on his own is welcome. It's not my ideal look but it's still clearly Apocalypse.
Shouldn't Rogue still have white in her hair? Maybe this is just a prototype.
I'm guessing the Overwatch line is on ice, hopefully when the "sequel" starts getting hyped up they'll pick it back up.
Man, more than anything else, I'm SO stoked for that new War Machine. He's long overdue for an update, but it looks like it was worth the wait for this figure. I wonder what wave he'll be in though.
With the movie Deadpool figures, Hasbro now makes figures from R-rated properties. Wonder if that means a possible Snipes Blade in the future.
Do we know how the AoA Apocalypse will be released? Anymore info on it? Its clearly not the build a figure for the wave. Is it exclusive anywhere or mass retail?
I am honestly flabbergasted. I can't believe I actually have an Iron Man 2020 figure. I've wanted one for ages and they did it perfectly. They used the 80th anniversary classic Iron Man body as a base, as they should have. I can't wait.
I love the surprise reveal of the Fox movie figures, but at the same time I'm disappointed by the complete lack of more MCU movie figures this year that were missed being done when those films first came out. The last 2 years Hasbro has given us a few to fill the missing gaps of characters they had missed early on. So I hope we see a few at SDCC since none were shown at Toy Fair. Still hoping for MCU Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, Tilda Swinton from Dr. Strange, etc. To be fair, some of those may finally get made with their next sequel movies, but they could end up looking different than their original film appearances too.
Back to the Fox movie figures though, I'm thrilled with those and hope it leads to more next year too. Old Man Logan/Laura would make a great two-pack. Also want Yukio from The Wolverine too.
Man hasbro must be ultra-meth.....over $100.00 bucks for xwings and snow speeders? Good luck with that.
Iron Man 2020 & Nimrod look great.
very cool.
very cool.
