DC Comics – Two-Face One:12 Collective Figure by Mezco Toyz

Posted on February 12, 2020 at 11:11 am by Joe Moore under DC Toy News

One12 Two Face 004

Pre-orders are live for the new DC Comics – Two-Face One:12 Collective Figure from Mezco Toyz. The 1/12 scale figure will include three swap out portraits, and multiple interchangeable hands. A few of the hands work perfectly for the iconic coin that Harvey Dent would carry. Accessories include a rocket launcher with effects pieces, a pistol with removable magazines, a sub-machine gun with removable magazines, gauze, firing effects, knives, coins with flipping effects, a suitcase bomb, and a figure stand. The suitcase bomb features an LED light up effect.

The figure is priced at $95. It will be released between September and November this year. You can check out more details, the new photos, and the pre-order link after the jump.

DC Comics – Two-Face One:12 Collective Figure

The One:12 Collective presents Two-Face, the alter ego and criminal mastermind persona of Gotham City’s fallen District Attorney, Harvey Dent. Two-Face wears a tailored two-toned suit and comes with three head portraits, including two chemically disfigured portraits capturing his disturbing and enraged visage. His dual identity can be concealed with an included roll of gauze.

A master marksman, Two-Face is well-equipped to take on masked vigilantes, law enforcement officers, or rival criminals that get in his way. He wields an impressive arsenal consisting of an encased explosive device with light up feature, missile launcher, sub-machine gun, hand gun, and switchblade. Two-Face is never without his lucky coin which is affixed to multiple interchangeable hands.

After an incident with acidic chemicals left him hideously scarred and mentally unstable, Harvey Dent believed right and wrong no longer mattered and everything was ruled by chance. With a marred face and damaged psyche, Harvey Dent becomes “Two-Face”, making decisions of good or evil based on the flip of his lucky double-headed coin. Having nothing to lose, Harvey “Two-Face” Dent is an extremely dangerous threat to all of Gotham City.

Can't wait for this! Mezco did a great job on this even including all the accessories. Also I hope we get a PX Exclusive with him in the white and black suit since everyone associates Harvey with that outfit.

100% getting this. A bit expensive but a really nice batch of accessories. Mezco killed it.

Interesting take on the figure. A mild touch of Batman Forever in the suit.

Hmmm, I rather like this headsculpt for Two-Face. Not a garish green ghoul but also not a bunch of exposed flesh that'd be infected instantly, just an interesting burnt skin look. I dig it!

He does come with a lot of accessories, I'd like the head to be painted a little more red than the scars here but it looks ok. It's cool they gave the regular head but I can't picture using it, especially with the two tone suit. But anyway I'm just going to wait it out and see what, if any, variants there are. I'm sure they could come up with something for SDCC/NYCC.

It's not something that appeals to me but, that's definitely a great rendition of the character and the accessories are sick, they pretty much covered everything you could want there.

Yeah, I agree. But there is a strong presence of 1/12 scale tailors coming up, so if somebody wanted they could put together a "before Two-Face" Harvey Dent custom. @korakji_ch on IG does really awesome suits.

That regular head gives me Jon Hamm vibes.

I'd assume this Two Face has had a bit of time to heal up, get skin grafts and what not. My guess is more Acid Burn then set ablaze.

Damn what a great coincidence since I was just wondering when I can finally get a decent Two-Face figure with modern engineering. I'm so happy that they went the fully-burnt look (e.g. Batman: The Long Halloween) and made this readily available to order without any hassle.

I definitely want a Two-Face but, I only need one. I think it’s very possible Mezco might do a variant as some sort of exclusive. So, I think I’ll wait and see if they do that. If it’s the b&w suit, that’s the one I would want. If it’s a Toy Fair exclusive I’ll never see it as they will give it to the attending media, most of whom are clueless, undeserving and greedy and will wind up flipping it for big bucks. Remember Blade? If it’s a Mezco or PX exclusive I have a shot. Otherwise I will pick up this version. He’s a great figure and I really like all the accessories he comes with.

This is toned down compared to Long Halloween, he was straight f##ked up in that and I loved it. It's really well done but I feel like they maybe went too realistic, perhaps if the burnt half was a touch more red I'd like it more.

That's fair enough. I personally like how it turned out but I can see how someone might prefer his burnt side to be a little more exaggerated. By Long Halloween, I mean the more burnt muscle look that does away with the white fizzy hair.

I like having a more damaged, tissue-baring burnt half because it's a comic character and so we get to allow those departures from reality. I am also not a fan of him receiving crazy frizzy hair. In the DCAU I'm fine with it because it's a cartoon but in the comics it's always looked so goofy to me.

The whole point of the Mezco line is to present comic book characters in as real a way as possible. Complaining he doesn’t look enough like a comic book doesn’t make any sense in this context.

I'd get that approach except that characters like Darkseid, a rock-faced alien with glowing red eyes, are a part of the line which invites the fantastic to be present. I just think they could have pushed the level of damage to be more pronounced. That's just my take, I think the sculpt and paint look great for what they're going for but I'm not on board with that direction myself.

I must say though, this is probably the best-looking suit Mezco has done at this scale so far. The tailoring actually looks sharp with the shoulders simulating proper padding and unlike all past offerings, it doesn't look frumpy at all. Gotta give credit where credit's due.

I think they need to stop adding a bullet to those effects and just do the muzzle flash. The bullet coming off does look really weird a lot of the time.

He seems like a good fit for the style. My question is would the mask also be fabric to fit the theme of the line or would it be sculpted to actually have expressions? Maybe they would do both.

God that figure looks incredible, but the price is iffy, it always kinda bugs me when Mezco just throws in accessories that needlessly boost the price of the figures, like, what the hell does a snuke have to do with Two-Face? And the Harvey head looks good, but who’s going to use it with the split suit? I would gladly have the nuke, head, and maybe even some of the hands dropped if it knocked 20-25$ off the figure
