Last year, Good Smile Company revealed prototypes for a few items based on Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars at the Summer Wonder Festival 2019. Now, pre-orders are live for one of the creatures from the CGI film. Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars brings back original character Johnny Rico, and is a direct follow up to the second live action film. The Figma Warrior Bug stands about 4″ tall. It will include two humans in Power Suits as well. You can swap out parts for standing or impaled looks fro the mini figures, which stand at just over 2″ tall.
In Japan, the Warrior Bug is priced at 11,000 Yen (about $101 USD). The figure is due for release in October. Domestic pre-orders are now live as well, and the U.S. retail prices is about $150. Pre-order at the links below, and see photos and details after the jump.

Figma Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars - Warrior Bug

Man I complain about Mafex prices enough but Figma are ridiculous. If this and their video game stuff were half the price I'd buy all of them.
How is this $100?!
How is this $100?!
I am entertained by their specifying which entry in the series this is from as if it doesn't look like every other Warrior Bug.
Those uniforms look like the video game/animation version, not the movie....booooo.
Its too much like acid rain, not that theres anything wrong with acid rain, come to think of it they probably did that on purpose.
Also it says, "Power Suit miniature figures pictured were painted for the purpose of taking product photos. Actual product will vary."
Technically they may still paint them it just might look different???
Damn, I was really looking forward to this. I'll try my best to buy it still.
So wish this baby was 1/12 scale.
Why so small but so expensive?
Raised my hopes up for nothing
Looks like they did a good job with molds and articulation for the bug figure, but yeah, the colors are all wrong for a cinematic bug, and I'm too lazy to repaint.
It would be amazing if somebody did recognizable figures of Casper Van Dien, Micheal Ironside and others as they appeared in the original movie, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm still waiting for QMX to release cinematic Nimoy Spock in his burgundy Starfleet uniform...
