Mezco has officially announced that pre-orders open tomorrow for the highly anticipated Batman (1989) One:12 Collective Figure. As you may recall, this was one of the earliest figures announced for the One:12 Collective line, but was put on hold until it was officially revealed last year at Toy Fair 2019. The figure will include three interchangeable portraits, multiple swap out hands, an assortment of weapons, and a figure stand. Batman is priced at $110, and will be released between August and October. It will be a Mezco Exclusive and will ship worldwide! Check back tomorrow for the pre-order info and full official details.

UPDATE 1/15/2020:
Pre-orders are now live! Check out the link, more photos, and full details after the jump.

Batman (1989) One:12 Collective Figure

“I want you to do me a favor. I want you to tell all your friends about me.”

Based on Tim Burton’s Academy Award winning film “Batman”, the Caped Crusader joins the One:12 Collective.

The One:12 Collective Batman – 1989 Edition features an all-new seamless body designed with an internal skeleton armature that is durable yet highly posable. Included are three cowled head portraits – one with movable eyes, achieving a new level of realism for the One:12 Collective.

Batman is outfitted in his iconic Batsuit from the film which features advanced body armor – strong enough to deflect bullets and break fists. A magnet in his collar allows him to switch between two leather-like capes – one with an integrated posing wire and one that drapes freely. The bat insignia sits front and center as a reminder to those that cross his path.

The dark vigilante comes prepared to protect Gotham City with a vast array of film accessories, as well as some unused designs, including: a gauntlet that attaches to his forearm and rotates open, a speargun that attaches to his utility belt via a magnet, multiple batarangs, and a time bomb.

After witnessing the senseless murder of his parents at the hands of a criminal, Bruce Wayne becomes Batman to rid Gotham City of crime and corruption.

  • All-New One:12 Collective body with seamless armor and hidden articulation
  • Three (3) head portraits including one with posable eyes

Exclusive goes up tomorrow, $110, it better come with a lot!

Given the advanced notice, and that you can order 6 and not 2 of them, I'm wondering if it's one of those preorders they keep up for a day or two and let people get orders in.

Will there be a regular release as well?

I highly doubt that. In the past when they have an exclusive version it's typically a variant. So I don't see it happening. Reminds me of John Wick where there's just a deluxe and no normal version. I hope this has deluxe accessories for the price, unless Keaton charges out the ass for his likeness.

They showed the figure last year. It looked like they're doing it as some kind of rubber overlay...didn't see any joints on it.

Damn. Looks like I'm going to have resort to eBay again because I seriously doubt I'll be able to get a preorder in tomorrow. Also, I don't see how this figure costs $110. They showed the figure and accessories in their NYTF booklet and it looks like it comes with less than the "Knight" Batman figures.

Maybe they had to charge extra to pay for Keaton's likeness?

It's an exclusive? Well that's a bummer. Was hoping to secure a pre order through an online store like Dorkside or Big Bad

If bbts had I’d bite. I’m not jumping through hoops for this. I’m happy with my neca figure.

Love the Hot Toys version, but never did enjoy their cape design. Wonder if Mezco will achieve that heavy draped leather look of the movie? In any event 1989 Bats needs to be bigger than 1/12 to really look good, the all black suit always looks kinda stumpy on anything under 1/6 scale.

If it stays open a day or two, it'll probably go on BBTS too but at a markup. BBTS put up Spiderman FFH, Wonder Woman Classic, and John Wick, but for about $30 more to cover their markup.

Do you remember how long after Mezco opened preorders that BBTS had them up for order? I'd certainly pay a little more to get Batman from BBTS instead of eBay.

Personally, I'm more looking forward to Mezco's creepy SD Batman '89 but this looks pretty cool too.

I neglected to pick that up when he was in stock places but will definitely look for him now!

It was the day after or maybe even day of, so not long. I really wonder if BBTS has some deal with Mezco or if they're literally getting every employee they have to buy 6 of each item lol. It's working for them though, the ones they have offered are all sold out.

I don't understand One 12 figure prices being all over the place like this, or why this had to be more expensive than most.

Ah yes, Mezco exclusives. Always a b*tch to secure one. I’d rather wait for another Mezco figure that isn’t Batman.

One theory I read is that the swappable heads have to be the entire cowl/neck piece and not just the head. But that really shouldn't add $25, that's like 50 cents worth of plastic.

If it's not that I don't know, the old product images from Toy Fair didn't show a ton of accessories, and I can't think of anything from the movie that'd be anything sizable aside from his vehicles and it's way too cheap to have another figure in there like a Bruce or something.

I’m not a fan of exclusives. I’ll be at work and I’ll try to order one. Disappointed in the price. $110 + shipping + tax is a lot of money for a 6 inch action figure. You don’t typically see a lot of 89 Batman figure product so it makes me wonder if there is some sort of licensing issue because it always seems to be an exclusive in this scale.

Would have got like 2 or 3 if he was like $80 but for the price I’ll settle for 1.

I'll be content with the NECA one from 5 years ago- looks almost as good for 20 bucks.

After seeing what's included it's not worth 110 at all.

When Hot Toys released '89 Batman & Joker several years ago the latter was a bit more expensive. Most likely reason was likeness rights. I think it's fair to say Jack's likeness is a bit more expensive than Michael Keaton's.
