A new addition to the Gremlins line has been announced by NECA. They have released photos and details for their Flasher Gremlin Ultimate 7″ Scale Figure. The upcoming figure includes a removable trench coat to recreate the iconic scene from the film. However, a number of additional accessories are included, including a fedora, a cigarette, sunglasses, poker chips, a visor, playing cards a mallet, a bowtie, and a puppet. All of these were worn or used by various Gremlins during the Tavern scene. The figure is currently listed for a May 2020 release. Check out new photos after the jump.

Any fan of Gremlins knows the 3 simple rules: keep them out of sunlight, don’t get them wet, and never feed them after midnight. Break them and you may find yourself having to cancel Christmas dinner.

Based off of the Dorry’s Tavern scene in Gremlins, the Flasher Gremlin comes equipped with a removable fabric trench coat. Not only that, he is super loaded with new accessories, including a poker visor, poker chips, mallet, puppet, fedora, bowtie, and more, allowing you to recreate the looks of other Gremlins from the film!

    Yes! I just sold my original flasher Gremlin last month on eBay. Was never a fan of the limited articulation on that figure.

    So should we expect this from any failed Loot Crate launch? It includes almost everything that had except the soft goods. I'd rather buy this one.

    I wonder how well that trenchcoat and fedora would fit the 1990 TMNT Raphael figure, or if NECA is already planning to re-use those pieces for an Undercover Raphael figure release later this year (maybe paired with the 1990 movie Casey Jones in a SDCC exclusive set).
