Super7 has announced the next assortment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ReAction Figures. The 3.75″ scale retro line is getting new figures based on Michelangelo, Donatello, Shredder, and a Foot Soldier. The figures are based on their appearance in the classic toy line. Each figure is packed on a specialized backer card featuring all-new art. These will go on sale on Friday, January 10th. You can see the new photos after the jump. We’ll update when sales go live.
New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ReAction Figures Revealed

Yeah, these are amazing. It would be cool if the foot soldiers came with random different weapons.I wasn't sure about getting these but they are cool
All of these look ok, except shredder. HATE the original playmates shredder. Comics or cartoon shredder would be preferable.
Love Mike and Don’s card art. That’s really good.
Shredder looks pretty cool, actually. But what happened to the Foot Soldier? Yikes. I think that he'd look a lot better with extended shoulder pads similar to the card art. He looks like he's just wearing pajamas as is.
New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ReAction Figures Available Now - The Toyark - News
Digging Shred-head, loved the original toy.
When are we going to see some of the other Reaction figures that have been up for preorder for a few months now, such as all the new Back to the Future figures, Army of Darkness, and Red Dawn? I hope they finally get shown at Toy Fair next month, but it seems strange they got solicited for preorders so early without ever being shown. I think the BTTF ones have been up for preorder since October.
I also noticed on the BBTS preorders that among the 3rd and 4th waves are the "Disguised" turtle variants from the vintage Playmates line:
Samurai Leo
Sewer Surfer Mike
Undercover Donatello
Space Cadet Raphael
Strange choice for Super7 to start doing some of the oddball costume variants for the turtles. Choices like that are going to make me not be a completist with their Reaction line. The silly cosplay variants is what I really hate about the vintage line (especially the Star Trek and Universal Monsters costumed turtles). I remember having WTF reactions when seeing all these weirdly costumed variants of the turtles in the toy aisles back then. To me it reeked of Playmates' desperation to keep the toy line alive when they started running out characters from the actual cartoon and lacked the creativity in coming up with new mutant characters to add to the line. So I'm surprised Super 7 wants to pay tribute to the worst aspect of the vintage line before doing important secondary characters like Rat King, Slash, Leatherhead, or Metalhead. I really hope they don't do this with the 7" scale line too. I'm not paying $45 per figure for Leonardo dressed up as Captain Kirk, Raphael as an Apollo 11 astronaut, Donatallo as Dracula, or Michaelangelo as a Wild West Cowboy.

These look great, especially the cards, but I can't start another line...
