In the original Dragon Ball series, the students of Master Roshi entered the World Martial Arts Tournament. Feeling the young fighters would lose interest in martial arts if they were to win, Master Roshi dons a disguise and enters the tournament to ensure Goku and Krillan would lose. Entering the tournament as Jackie Chun, he finds the young Goku to be a far tougher opponent than he imagined, taking everything he has to defeat his student.
Tamashii Nations is revisiting the classic story with a new figure based on Jackie Chun. The upcoming S.H. Figuarts release is a Bandai Premium Web Exclusive. The figure stands over 5″ tall. It includes two swap out faces, multiple interchangeable hands, a microphone, and a Dragon Ball. Pre-orders go live in Japan on Friday, December 6th. Look for the figure to be released in May 2020 at a price of 6,050 Yen (about $56 USD). You can see the new photos after the jump.
S.H. Figuarts Dragon Ball Jackie Chun Figure

Is the name a nod to Jackie Chan or just a coincidence?
Yes, it is a nod. Dragon Ball's creator, Toriyama, is a fan of Jackie Chan's work, as is Jackie Chan of Toriyama's work.
Great expressions, the microphone is a big sell for me as well
Has there ever been a P-shop item from DBZ SH Figuarts that didn't see a US release?
