Over the weekend, Sideshow Collectibles had opened up pre-orders for their upcoming Star Wars – Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue. Nightsister of Dathomr, Jedi Padawan, Sith Assassin, and Bounty Hunter are all titles that Asajj Ventress has held through her appearances in Star Wars lore. She is featured throughout the Clone Wars cartoon. Initially introduced as an apprentice to Count Dooku, her journey would ultimately lead her to renouncing the Dark side of the Force. The new statue stands at 22″ tall, and features a statue base inspired by her homeworld of Dathomir. The statue includes swap out portraits, and has Asajj Ventress wielding dual lightsabers.
The Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue is priced at $595. It is due for release between September and November of 2020. You can see additional details, the photos, and the pre-order link after the jump.
Sideshow presents the Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue, joining the galaxy of Star Wars collectibles.
As a collection, Sideshow’s Mythos series are fine art collectibles that allow the collector to imagine what could have been, but maybe never was. Myths meant to be initiated by the eye and completed by the mind.
The Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue measures over 22” tall as the lethal Nightsister stands poised on the growths of a Dathomirian swamp base. Beneath her feet lies a Ssurian skull snared in the vines of her home planet’s native flora as the Sith assassin wields her dual red lightsabers in preparation for battle.
The polystone Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue has PVC elements and features an intricate, fully sculpted costume in the Nightsisters’ traditional black and red hues, detailed with realistic and dynamic fabric-like movement. Her black bodice, leg guards, and gloves all have a wrapped and roughened appearance while her red hood, skirts, and the feathers adorning her shoulders are sculpted with dramatic, billowing flow.
Ventress’s signature pale complexion contrasts with her bold costume, and her hooded portrait features the Zabrak’s signature facial markings around the mouth and eyes. The Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue also includes an alternate portrait with her hood down, revealing her bald head and piercing white gaze, allowing collectors to reveal this enemy of the Jedi with an additional display option.
Harness the magick of Dathomir and add the Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue to your Star Wars collection today.
Star Wars - Asajj Ventress Mythos Statue by Sideshow

Wow! I love it.
Edit: I was wishing that Sideshow or somebody else would do a 12" figure based on this design, but it probably wouldn't translate well to that format -- the costume especially.
This is really good -- the best collectible realization of the character to date. Especially love the face sculpt with pupils in the eyes.
Looks pretty awesome!!
Kotobukiya might be the one to do it, if it happens anytime soon. They seem to be the only company with a license to target the smaller scale with the ArtFx line. But for all we know, they will do a Bishoujo or her instead lol.
Of course, then there is the option in the 1/6 market to just buy different bodies, head sculpts, and clothing to make your own too (its the possibilities like that which make me feel that the 1/6 articulated figure collecting is like an entirely different beast of its own).
Got to echo the 1/6 scale sentiments; that’s the first thought I had- ‘why can’t this be a 12” statue?!’
Regardless, this is a really great interpretation of one of my favourite Prequel Era characters. The intertwining robes are very Star Wars and the red is totally indicative of the Night Sisters of Dathomir.
I hope Hot Toys dare to give us a Ventress. It must only be a matter of time until the Black Series tackles her.

This is a beautiful statue with an unusually non-sexualised pose, pity about the price.
I'd love to see an articulated figure by Hot Toys.

Regarding the costume, I think a more realistic expectation for soft goods might be something resembling the outfit worn by Ninth Sister in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. I'd post a link to some images or video, but I don't want to spoil the game for those who haven't enjoyed it yet. It's GREAT.
