But did they get the arms right? It's good...but something is off with the proportions.

The shoulder and bicep armor does appear to be a bit on the small side.

kinda disappointed in the lack of features/accessories for these. I mean the sculpt is incredible but it gets harder and harder to justify the price tag when the accessories get less and less

MAFEX did a better job of doing a decent Robocop figure already. Easy pass.

    Apples and oranges.

$20 for this is a lot more palatable than Super 7 wanting $15 for their Robocop figure.

Speaking of Super7, hope their ED-209 eventually comes out,I wanna display it with the Hiya figure.

Yeah exactly. Mafex is an $80 6" figure, this is only $20 and obviously a smaller scale.

When the Mafex Robocop was revealed, no one said "Geez there's a Hot Toys available, why bother with this?"

Another options if super 7 doesn't release are kenner cap firing version made years ago and there are 1/16 scale vinyl ED-260 model kits that you can sometimes find for a reasonable price on ebay, ect.

The vinyl kits also exist in larger scales for 1/12 and larger collectors and may offer a cheaper option.

would you have been interested if this was mafex level and the mafex one didn't exist?

judging from a previous post, I say no

Call me a snob but I generally dislike figures that are 4" and below. Unless a nearly-obscure license shows up with figures that look interesting, then maybe I'll get a few and move on.

some of us grew up with 4" figs being the rule of thumb scale..I prefer 6", but still see the beauty of even 4" 5POA.

You know, usually companies try and put their best foot forward with their preview photos...or is that supposed to be battle damage and NOT blatant paint fuck-ups?

I think it's the mold more than the paint. It look like a hole in the mask itself. I believe they use 3D printers for their prototypes.

They should have tried to fix it before snapping the photo for sure, or at the very least, just photoshopped it out. It literally takes 5 seconds to clone that out, and the other issues (see below). Sometimes I think these companies just don't have someone on staff who is capable of editing the photos properly, to get rid of dust, issues with the prototype, clumped paint from hand painting.

    Hmm...you may be right. Odd.

Well, in-hand Hiya's figures are usually very decent. My only complaint is the constant delays, but the end result is typically worth it.

Feel like i've been waiting forever since these, i guess just last October they were announced, though.
